Glen Park At Glendale - Mariposa St was a very clean facility, but it was much larger than it looks from the outside. The level of care that they offer here seemed to be much more precise and focused than at any of the other facilities. I like that they have one caregiver per seven residents. That was really important to my sister and me. They showed us the rooms, the menu, the activities, and the salon. The facility looks very nice and clean, not new or fancy, but clean. And I like that they have outings to amusement parks, casinos, and movies. The outings were much more, I guess, exciting than those at any of the other facilities. Once a month, they go to a casino as a group, to Universal Studios, to the beach; they go to bigger outings. Even though the facilities were modest, it was very clean, and the level of attention is what matters.
