The place is clean, the nurses and staff are very courteous and respectful, and most of all food they serve is good as if I'm not in a nursing home. Their Physical Therapy program is ecxellent, they attended to me every step of the way. They even have daily activity sessions for the patients all through out the day.

Mother was placed at Dreiers for a period of 3 weeks after suffering a stroke. The rehab department worked wonders on her. The staff were all so nice. The best was the food!

Unfortunately my grandmother was transferred here from a hospital and remained a patient of the facility for sometime until we could move her to a quality home. The lack and quality of care from doctors, nurses and staff in general was horrific. She was neglected, bruised and contracted Scabies there. The doctor's at the facility refused to admit it was Scabies and she suffered until we were able to get her treated by a doctor outside Dreier's. On one evening visit I walked in her room to find a large garbage bin full of dirty and soiled linens left in the middle of her room overnight. I could hardly breath from the stench. We could not prove abuse but she had bruises on her body and head. We filed complaints with the health department but they did nothing. I would not leave a stray dog there. If you have a loved one, keep looking because they deserve better.

I was highly impressed with Dreier's Nursing Care Center. They are a 5-star type of facility that I thought was one of the better ones. They do have a reputation. It's a facility that has been in business for over 60 years. They're a medium-sized place. It's homely and they have a great staff there. I just thought that they were very reputable. I looked at the patients there. They were extremely happy. A lot of them had some great powerful testimonies about being able to recuperate for some of their problems like strokes and things of that nature. I was surprised of it being a good type of older community. A person looking outside from the inside point of view, they saw mountain regions and just pleasant sights from their facility. I thought that they were something that I could remember about the way their whole total picture was. It wasn't polished like a lot of state of the art, brand new facilities but it was extremely homey, very clean. I just saw a relaxation there that I didn't see before at some of the facilities. I thought that they've had a specialist system design for a person that has a specialized problem like dementia. I just thought for some reason that facility it seems like it is really trying to grab and dig deeply into the patient to see if the patients can come out and want to win in life instead of giving up and just housing them.

My sister-in-law stayed temporarily in Dreier's Nursing Home. That place was nice and everything but she was just wasn't for a nursing home. She was not qualified to stay there because she did not need all that medical stuff.
