"My father-in-law is at Sea Cliff. The rooms are excellent and the staff are very accommodating. I'm really not sure of the activities because he does not do any; he has dementia. A suggestion that I can think is that they need to lower the beds in the rooms. "

"Beachside Nursing Center was very clean and my wife's aunt had very good interactions there with the staff. She already knew the people there actually, because she has done rehab there before when she broke her hip back in April. Then she came back after another stay in the hospital. So, this was her third time at the facility. The food was good. They were very attentive and always took care of her properly. They have good staff. They have a little patio where they can socialize, like an open space, and it was very nice, but pretty much that's what it was."

"Helena was a resident at Stanley several years. This was the 4 resident care facility I had my mother in and the only one that took excellent care of her to the end of her life. While she was resident and I would stop by to visit her, her TV was always on with her language, not at other facilities. I never found her sitting in a wheelchair staring at a blank wall, she was at other facilities. She never had bed sores, she did at other facilities. I never smelt urine, I did at other facilities. The staff was kind and I felt they cared about my mother's comfort. Her room was large and I was able to place a taped mural of family pictures on the walls. Stanley should be a facility to visit when finding a home for your loved one. It's not an upscale glamorous facility, but one that had excellent care. Even though they had activities for residence, at the end of her life she didn't attend. I had collectible tapes of vintage stories Old Time Radio, like Lone Ranger, Sherlock Holmes, etc, things she would remember and they did play them for her. "

"We liked Extended Care Hospital Westminster because they had 5 stars in their rating. I liked the rooms, the people, and the staff, but Mom did not qualify for skilled nursing. The rooms were hospital-like. "

"I have been in this facility for 24 days after knee surgery -it was very nice team working together, very clean, well caring for all patients - I appreciate all what they done for me & I notice they caring for every one in this facility. this is the best place I ever seen, asking blessing for all of them. Every one in this place working very hard in her/his job ----- If any one aske me about this place I recommand it. They respect all patients & vistors too -- Thanks you from all my heart. "

"My mother was in ManorCare for two weeks. The place was great. She was in a semi-private room and had some physical therapy every day. Pretty much the whole time she was there, she was in bed most of the day other than for physical therapy. She said the food was OK. The staff was always helpful and very nice. People that have been to ManorCare all like it. "

"We've found Garden Grove Post Acute for my brother and he's doing well. It was within his price range and that was important. It was only $1500 for everything. The place is very clean, and the people are friendly and helpful. He likes it and he's adjusting well, and I'm really happy about that. It's plain and simple but it's clean. It's healthy for him too. He gets fed well and they take good care of him. He's thriving there. He goes to daily activities and plays games. They also have some entertainment that comes in like music and stuff like that."

"I am in CareMeridian for rehab, and it's great. It's small with only 14 rooms, very personable, and has a lot of individual care. The staff is good. They go for movies and do various things. They have two fine dining areas."

"My mom is still at Victoria Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. It is a very good skilled nursing facility. They had good food, a good layout, and great staff. The staff is very friendly and we have great communication. There's an activity room, and there's an activity director."

"Although this place needs a good face lift, the people here are so nice & caring. Not only for your loved one you place here but also for you. The Dr even called me up directly at home to talk about my Father's condition. He spent over an hour on the phone with me, that has never happened. Dad didn't like the food however... "

"My dad has been transferred to this Pacific Haven subacute facility from a previous facility for about 1.5 months. So far, I am so satisfied with this facility with many great things comparing with the previous one… Friendly and compassionate staff… Very clean facility with Strict infection controls in place (This is a very Big Plus of the facility!!!)… Nice/Beautiful Front and Back Yard settings… Many great things about this place I cannot list all here… So, please don’t hesitate to send your loved ones to this Trusted Subacute and Nursing Home facility! "My father was at Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for rehabilitation. I think that was maybe two years or three years ago. The entrance was fine, but my father stayed in a two-person room. It was a bed; it was basic. But I thought the staff seemed friendly, and I was pleased to see that there were activities happening. They had a central room for crafts and games, which I thought was really nice. They were encouraging my dad to do better, and he did get better. I had a turkey sandwich or something there, and it was good. The biggest criticism I have of skilled nursing facilities is that the rooms are just so minimalist. It's a bed and a TV. You wish to have just a little more space, so it feels less institutional. Some plants would be nice, and maybe some artwork on the walls or something. I think my father's Medicare paid for most of his stay there."

"Crystal Cove Care Center is taking very good care of my friend. They are giving her a little bit of physical therapy and making sure she gets up and walks a little bit, at least 20 steps or more. The place is nice and clean. The people that I've met are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the place. The general appearance of the place is that it's very well-kept. The rooms are around the courtyard and the able patients can sit outside in the little courtyard. They have a large room where they do physical therapy. So there are other people around working out at the same time."
