I am so glad my daughter chose ManorCare for my rehab from COVID. I was in Hoag Hospital for a week and at ManorCare for three weeks. Not only is this an excellent facility, but more importantly, the people are GREAT! All the nurses, CNAs, physical therapists, and other staff were competent and caring. Some were outstanding. Meds nurse Shelby was impressive in providing cheerful, positive, and kind attention with much needed friendly humor. Mary, my upper body physical therapist, was perfect and so very kind. I observed Mary going beyond her duties to help other patients in so many ways. Other exceptional staff include meds nurse Grant, physical therapist Rosa and others whose names escape me. My daughter had many phone exchanges with social worker Andy, and she was impressed. He was always available, always quickly returned telephone calls, and always helped in big and small ways. We are both so grateful.

April 2023 My husband is a stroke victim who faces many health challenges. He was sent to Manor Care after a hospital stay. We had no previous knowledge about Manor Care but were impressed and very happy with the cleanliness of his room and the care from all of the staff who attended my husband. They were most dedicated, warm, and professional helping him to make progress in different areas. We are thankful for the special attention from Elyse (Speech T}, Denice and Cynthia (OT), Mary (PT), Sandra, Raj and the other competent, loving staff.

My husband is currently a resident due to a stroke he had last week and was in the ICU. My biggest complaint is that I cannot get thru to anyone in charge, either a nurse or a doctor OR THE ADMINISTRATOR!. I have been waiting 3 hours for a return phone call from anyone in charge there and all I get is excuses. This is NOT a place you want to put anyone in if you care about them. With COVID I can't go in there but if I have to get my attorney involved, it is going to be more than this bad review.

My mother was in ManorCare for two weeks. The place was great. She was in a semi-private room and had some physical therapy every day. Pretty much the whole time she was there, she was in bed most of the day other than for physical therapy. She said the food was OK. The staff was always helpful and very nice. People that have been to ManorCare all like it.

My mother was in ManorCare nursing home. They're very attentive, and they took very good care of her. It was more hospital-like, but it's clean, so it was good. She gained weight there and was feeling much better. The nurses and the physical therapists were very helpful, caring, and efficient. Sometimes, the nursing assistants were a little gruff, but I know they're so overworked. The care was mostly good, and she did get better.

The workers at ManorCare are nice, friendly, easy to get along with, very helpful and they give excellent service. They'd come around when you need something. The rooms are spacious and the sanitation is okay.

My Mother was the Victim of an Incident, Was Not Cared For After it Except for a Tylenol. I Was Not Called for Three Hours and She Was Not Taken to an Emergency Room for FOUR Hours. They Mobile X-Rayed the Wrong Hip, and They Used an Unknown to Most Ambulance Service an Hour Away. The Fire Dept/Paramedics are Three Minutes Away and the Hospital is Seven. Her Doctor Was Not Properly Made Aware She Was Transfered to Emergency Room Because I Had to Threaten Them with Police to Get Them to Take Her There. Diagnosis Once in Emergency, Other Hip Broken!!! They Called and Asked For Her to Be Returned Since THEIR X-Ray of the Re-Hab Hip Came Back Not Rebroken. She Had Surgery on the Now New Hip With a UTI Present as The Doctors at Hospital Could Not Wait Too Long. She Got Sepsis, Pneumonia, A Blood Clot and Internal Bleeding, All That You Get if You Are Elderly and Not Taken IMMEDIATELY to a Hospital. Oh Yeah, Two Things, They Got Cited By Public Health and Mother is DEAD.

The place is very clean with beautiful decorations around. It feels very welcoming as I stepped into the facility. The nurses are sometimes nice on a good day. There were some that were a bit mean and didn't care about the patient. Food was okay to eat. Parking space is a lot for cars to park. They have everything from games to newspapers and magazines. They have clean beds and clean grounds. Overall, the place is a great place to be there for a few exceptions of the nurses.

This is a modern facility and seems to have all the top of the line medical equipment necessary for the care and healing of the patient. The staff here is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure the patients are comfortable. The staff was very attentive to the patients and goes out of their way to do all they can do to aid in the healing process. The facility was clean and sterile and modern. The menu appeared to be well planned with healthy choices. There in not a secure wing for Memory Care. If you want a short or long term facility this is a great choice. They are exceptional in their care of their patients. It is evident they went to great pains to choose staff that truly cares from the top done to the lower levels of staff. They all care and have their place in the care of the patients. I would place a loved one here.

I have toured this facility. It is very large - 2 levels. Large corporation-chain. They have sub acute, short term SNF Care and long term. It is not secured. This is a medical setting and patients can be placed in an alternative level of care if it is appropriate. They do not take med-ical. The social worker is very nice and he is very good with customer service issues. This would be a good place for a loved one to go, just after they are released from the hospital and when they need a little more medical supervision. It is very state of the art. I would recommend this facility.
