"It was beautiful. It looked like a high-scale 5-star hotel. It was just amazing and gorgeous. If I get old and they want to put me somewhere, I hope they would put me there. If you're wealthy, then that’s the place to be. The staff was very nice and very professional. Everything there seemed perfect. I saw a couple of rooms. One was super airy with a lot of space and windows, and it smelled super clean."

"The apartment that I saw was a one bedroom apartment and it was nice. The place was beautiful and clean. Everyone was nice and the staff were accommodating.. I saw that they have some games."

"We toured the Pacifica Senior Living South Coast's memory care unit. Their facility was a little more constrained, less open, and less of an area to live your life, I guess. The staff who assisted us during the tour was very cooperative and open enough to answer questions. The room we saw was very nice-looking and clean, but one thing we did not like about it was that it had a shared bathroom."

The staff who assisted me with the tour was very friendly and helpful. I saw some residents there in their wheelchairs watching TV. I saw a private room, and it was very clean and very nicely decorated. The courtyard had tables and stuff."

"5 STAR EXPERIENCE! My parents moved into the brand new Atria Newport Beach when it opened in Jan, 2021. Things just keep getting better and better. The staff is excellent! They know all residents by name and cater to their needs. The food is delicious and available all day not just for 2 hour blocks a few times a day. This is a "signature" property, so it's like living on a 4 star cruise ship. Tons of interesting activities, visits to museums, live music several times a week, great art projects, interesting speakers and movies in their own movie theater! And great exercise and enrichment classes also. The apartments are on the smaller side, but it gets everyone out to socialize in the "living room", gym, library, theater, arts/crafts, and the outdoor terrace and card rooms. There is always something going on and my parents love all of the interesting people that live there and the staff that takes such an interest in them."

"At Brookdale Garden Grove, there was nobody to take us around so we just looked on our own. We didn't have an appointment, and everybody was busy; however, the girl that was with us for a little while, she didn't know a lot, but she was helpful. She just wasn't the person that we were supposed to see. We saw the room and the entertainment facilities, and they were about the same as with the other facility. "

"I loved Rowntree Gardens. It was a campus with gardens that had lots of beautiful flowers and trees. You could take a walk or just sit out and enjoy. It had squirrels and birds, too. The people were very friendly and outgoing. The tour guide, Donald, was excellent. I got tired of walking because it was so extensive, but he got me a wheelchair and that was very thoughtful of him. The community itself was older, but it had a charm about it. Each unit had a sunroom, which I think was so important for the light to come in when you're in a complex like that. That was my favorite out of all the places that I saw. Everything that I saw was very clean and comfortable."

"My mom was at Beach Terrace. It was a very comforting place. The people were extremely nice. The staff and all the workers, they were all really, really helpful and knowledgeable. They did a great job with my mom. They were very accommodating, so it was a good experience. I was really happy with them. The place was clean and in a very nice shape. Everything was well taken care of. They were just very understanding. And it started with the receptionist when I walked in, she's a very sweet girl. The menu was good and the food was good, too. It was good quality. I watched a few of them bowling, and then a church group came in and did worship, and that was good. They had a lot of activities. Once a month, they had something where they invited the families. It was very affordable, and cheaper than most, for sure. There was nothing I wasn't satisfied with."
