My mom is at Pacific Haven Healthcare Center. They are helping her with PT, OT, ST, some memory stuff, and all the health stuff, like congestive heart failure, her diabetes, and her renal insufficiency. They're excellent. All the people that have helped her have been excellent. It's old, but they've cleaned it up and they fixed it up and it's very nice. My mom was in a private room initially for three weeks because she was recovering from Covid. Now she's moved to a regular room. It's a shared room with a total of three people. With regard to the food, it looks okay. However, there's salt in the food. She needs a no-salt diet, so she is getting some salt there. They can't get the specificity per patient. So we're bringing in some food.

My dad has been transferred to this Pacific Haven subacute facility from a previous facility for about 1.5 months. So far, I am so satisfied with this facility with many great things comparing with the previous one… Friendly and compassionate staff… Very clean facility with Strict infection controls in place (This is a very Big Plus of the facility!!!)… Nice/Beautiful Front and Back Yard settings… Many great things about this place I cannot list all here… So, please don’t hesitate to send your loved ones to this Trusted Subacute and Nursing Home facility!

The thing that I like the most about this facility is the amazing staff. They are all very caring and remember me and my husband by name whenever we go to visit our family member. They are also very proactive when it comes to the mental and physical health of the residents. We are alerted to any severe changes in mood or any medical issues that come up in regards to our family member. The facility is older so some things could be upgraded (i.e. the closets and nightstands in the patient rooms, the flooring in certain areas, and there are issues with cable t.v. reception/hookup) but the it is always clean. The outside areas are kept up nicely and there is an inner courtyard for residents (it's enclosed so patients' with dementia/Alzheimer's can enjoy the outdoors too). The facility is also equipped with an area for physical therapy, and an activity room with events going on all the time to keep the residents entertained and active.
