"We've found Garden Grove Post Acute for my brother and he's doing well. It was within his price range and that was important. It was only $1500 for everything. The place is very clean, and the people are friendly and helpful. He likes it and he's adjusting well, and I'm really happy about that. It's plain and simple but it's clean. It's healthy for him too. He gets fed well and they take good care of him. He's thriving there. He goes to daily activities and plays games. They also have some entertainment that comes in like music and stuff like that."

"Windsor Gardens is in downtown Fullerton, CA. It's a pretty decent area. The staff is great, very knowledgeable. It's a nice place. But just like any other skilled nursing or assisted living, response time to the patient needs improvement. Most of these places are understaffed, but it's doable. I would recommend them. The place is fine, it's clean, and the food is good. "

"The rooms can be single/double. My uncle was in a double room. The facility is not a state of the art brand new looking facility-BUT don't let this be the deciding factor. The STAFF is what makes this facility. I am an RN and have worked for 30yrs in the medical field- this facility, the staff took such great care of my uncle. It is now a year since his passing and I am able to share from my heart how grateful I am for their genuine care and concern for my uncle and my family. They answered all our phone calls, answered to my uncle's needs promptly. Most of the staff has been there for 20+years- that tells you something as well. Everyone from the aide to the director hands on. they have an indoor atrium and often I see the aide taking the patients outside and for a walk around for a change of scenery. they did crafts, have a hairdresser that cuts their hair regularly. Grooming and personal care with dignity. so much to say about this place. It is a hidden gem and if ever I have another loved one that needs this type of care I will place them there without any question. "I am in CareMeridian for rehab, and it's great. It's small with only 14 rooms, very personable, and has a lot of individual care. The staff is good. They go for movies and do various things. They have two fine dining areas."

"My mother was a resident of Anaheim Crest Nursing Center, it was an excellent place, and I liked them a lot. The staff was real nice and friendly, and they have a lot of activities for the residents. Among the many care facilities that my mom went to, this one I would highly recommend. The staff is excellent, and all of them were very nice to my mom. My mom had issues with the food, only because they had meals like the Korean kind. But if you tell them you don’t like chili or if you’re on a specific diet or anything like that, they are very accommodating in making sure that they don’t put something you won’t like or that upsets the stomach. The place is very clean, and they have lots of employees and plenty of help. They’re not understaffed at all. If I could give them a ten on the activities I would. They have an outstanding activities director, that’s why my mom likes them so much. They have something for the residents every single day, they have kids who come in to do performances for them, like a candlelight dinner on certain nights where they get served sparkling cider. They also have bingo going on and they get to buy stuff at the store, they have music going on, and it’s one of the best places when it comes to activities. They also have people who come and do my mom’s hair and nails, they have a hearing doctor come in for her, a dentist comes in, and a podiatrist comes in and sees my mom. The therapists are very good there. Everybody is very friendly and hands on with the residents."

"This facility is nice and has wonderful nursing staff however the social workers should have been a financial consultant because he was clearly paid on commission. Mike was very concerned at the beginning but as soon as medicare ran out, he switched into the tax collector. He ruins the faciity and is clearly not there for the well being of the patients. I would recommend this facility but be ready to play hard ball with Mike."

"Anaheim Healthcare Center is OK, but the social workers are so-so. They're not helping me very much. When I call them, they don’t return my calls. I reported one of them to the administrators because she was basically harassing me to take my sister out of there because we ran out of Medicaid."

"My brother was a resident/patient there for 3 plus years, completely bedridden. He was 100% dependent on the staff caring for him. I don’t believe Anaheim Terrace has ever had to deal with a patient worse then him. Yet, thy tolerated this man in the most professional way possible. The Nurses and CNA’s are fantastic as is the administrative staff. I only wish I could go in there (still dealing with COVID) and first apologize for his bad behavior, and then to thank each one of them for putting up with him, and treating him with continued care and respect. I highly recommend Anaheim for you or your loved one."

"My brother was in Coventry Court for a while. It’s beautiful and gives excellent attention to the patient. The staff was excellent. They have shared rooms that were fine. "

"My father was at Buena Vista Care Center and it was absolutely wonderful. Each had their own bathroom in their bedroom. They had so many help who took care of the residents. "

"This is more like a home. I feel safe leaving my loved after our visit. My mom bragged about the food and the activity staff. The administration department has been very helpful and reassuring. Thank you for all you do."

"Helena was a resident at Stanley several years. This was the 4 resident care facility I had my mother in and the only one that took excellent care of her to the end of her life. While she was resident and I would stop by to visit her, her TV was always on with her language, not at other facilities. I never found her sitting in a wheelchair staring at a blank wall, she was at other facilities. She never had bed sores, she did at other facilities. I never smelt urine, I did at other facilities. The staff was kind and I felt they cared about my mother's comfort. Her room was large and I was able to place a taped mural of family pictures on the walls. Stanley should be a facility to visit when finding a home for your loved one. It's not an upscale glamorous facility, but one that had excellent care. Even though they had activities for residence, at the end of her life she didn't attend. I had collectible tapes of vintage stories Old Time Radio, like Lone Ranger, Sherlock Holmes, etc, things she would remember and they did play them for her. "
