My brother was a resident/patient there for 3 plus years, completely bedridden. He was 100% dependent on the staff caring for him. I don’t believe Anaheim Terrace has ever had to deal with a patient worse then him. Yet, thy tolerated this man in the most professional way possible. The Nurses and CNA’s are fantastic as is the administrative staff. I only wish I could go in there (still dealing with COVID) and first apologize for his bad behavior, and then to thank each one of them for putting up with him, and treating him with continued care and respect. I highly recommend Anaheim for you or your loved one.

Only 2 out of 20 staff (that I met and care for my husband) knows what they’re doing, helpful and caring are Maribel and Elena. These two ladies are excellent CNA. The Nurses do their job, which is giving meds... no above and beyond. The nurse, Mitzi who’s in charge of my husband’s sitter schedule is off for the weekend. Nobody knows what’s going on. The nurse in charge today, 1/18/20 doesn’t know anything. Why is not in the notes? They called Mitzi but she didn’t call back. Everything about must be on file or in their notes, right? If not, at least keep a log on what’s going on. This facility needs communication and compassion for the patient and the family must be updated. They are good in passing the buck. They pass almost everything to the CNAs. Elena and Maribel are excellent employees. What happened to TEAMWORK?

My mother was at Anaheim Terrace Care Center, which had a good appearance. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. I looked at other places, but Anaheim Terrace Care Center is the only place that I could afford. It was the only place that took her after she struck a nurse for trying to give her a bath and the only one that would take my mom from the hospital. My mom is back in the hospital again because they were trying to keep her in bed, and she struck another nurse; however, Anaheim Terrace does not want her back. Anaheim Terrace Care Center had some church on Sunday and some physical therapy. Other than that, I didn't see any other activities. The room had two beds. It was not spacious, but it was a nice-sized room with a decent-sized closet. After my mom was released, I didn't pick up her belongings right away. I waited a couple of weeks. When I went to get her belongings, they didn't have them. They lost her glasses. They need to do better keeping people's belongings safe.
