"My friend moved into Cambridge Court and it's been excellent. We've been very happy. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The room is excellent, the largest we've seen anywhere, and the dining area is very nice, very spacious, well setup, and very clean. The food is very good, they have a good variety, and if you don't like the menu there's a side menu where the residents can order other stuff, which is very nice. There's always something for them to eat. They have bingo, daily activities, schedules, and they go on outings. There's a church service he attends a couple times a week. It's centrally located to him and the people he was close to, so we are happy with them. They have a couple of rooms where you can break away, you can go to a little library, they have a living room area, a gameroom, and a nice patio area. It's nice that they have areas to go into if they desire."

"We liked Emeritus at Garden Manor better than the first facility we visited. The problem that I saw with it was, the room that we looked at anyway, didn’t have a handicap bathroom. It had grab bars and things, but it wasn’t like a bathroom you could roll into. I think my brother might be in a wheelchair before too much longer, so I'm kind of looking for that. I was little disappointed in the bathroom. I guess there were some rooms that had those kinds of bathrooms, but they weren’t available to look at. But I thought it was a very nice setting, and there was a nice residential area. It was bright looking and was very pleasant. It was such a brief overview of the place, but the people there seemed very nice. I had no issues with it; I was just expecting more of a handicap bathroom. This place is more updated than the other Emeritus facility that we saw. "

"I thought it looked very nice. We had lunch there, and the burgers that we had for lunch were very good. They showed us two or three different rooms; one was a single room, and the other was two rooms. I was quite impressed with the place, and I thought it looked very much like what we had in mind. "

"My friend moved into Bliss Care Home. This is a boarding place. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice. Everything is very nice. It has a nice backyard, lots of fruit trees, an area where they can sit out, and a covered gazebo. Their living atmosphere is friendly, quiet, and nice. They have activities for the guests. The other three women that are there are nice. She has someone to converse with. I would put someone in there again if I had to. I would use their services again. I haven't found a problem with them."

"My parents moved in about 6 weeks ago, in the midst of the pandemic, and so far, it has been a very pleasant experience for them. The atmosphere at Oakmont has been kept as normal as possible despite all of the Covid restrictions. The staff is incredible and attentive to their needs. The food is very good. Families are updated weekly by the director via email which is greatly appreciated. The facility is beautiful inside and out and incredibly clean. I highly recommend Oakmont to anyone in need of a little more assistance with everyday life. "

"This community is gorgeous. My friend's mom moved into a 1 bedroom apartment. Her balcony looks out over the horse stables. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. She loves the activities and has made several new friends since May."

"I loved Rowntree Gardens; that was our first choice. The tour was wonderful, the gal was very helpful and there was no rush. She showed us different rooms, walked us to the facilities; it's a nice place. She showed us the different levels and they have more care, where others don't have any care. The rooms were nice, spacious, and clean. The dining was very nice, very pleasant. They have dining in each separate building if the patient couldn't get down to the main dining room. They were able to order their meal off of a menu, which was very impressive, instead of everybody being served the same meal. They had a long list of amenities. They had shuffleboard there and maybe incoming music. They had a calendar of activities. The staff that I met there and the housekeepers were so friendly and loved their job. The place was very clean, and they had a non-denominational church right there at the location."

"It was an airy place, high ceilings, and a feeling like an old mansion. They had very warm and friendly people there. There was a bistro café as you walk in on the side that offered coffee and snacks to the residents and the guests. It was like an old nice hotel. The staff were very helpful,. They were right on it all the time -- everything that was needed -- and followed up with my mother. The apartments were pretty and surrounded by trees and walking paths. It was very green looking out the window. The one-bedroom didn't have a door between the bedroom and the living room, but it did go around the corner, so there was some sense of privacy between the two. There were two closets, a good sized bathroom, and a kitchen. It looked nice, and I thought I want to live here. The menu was on the elegant side; it wasn't just macaroni and cheese and hotdogs, but different kinds of nice salads, roast beef, and chicken done in different ways. It was like a restaurant menu rather than a cafeteria. The dining area was quite large, and people could sit by themselves if they wanted to. There's also a family dining room. They also told me that they get their orders based on the choices of the day, and they come and bring them their food. They had physical activities like exercise classes and community college classes where instructors would come in and teach, and they had some games and movie nights. "

"I toured Sunrise of Orange. It was very nice, but it was expensive. They had both shared and private rooms. The staff was all very professional and nice. They offered activities during the day. They had arts and game day. They had where they get on a bus and go for a little tour."
