Sunrise of Orange

My stepmom moved to Sunrise of Orange. It gives off a nice vibe. They're very caring, and the staff goes above and beyond. I was able to taste the food, and it was very good. The building is very clean and brand new. They offer painting, reading, piano, and socialization activities. It's a happy environment.

My dad moved to Sunrise of Orange. They gave me a military discount, which was very helpful. It's a new place; it's not even a year old yet, so it's very good at this time. There are about four different floor plans, and he picked a larger floor plan. It has a bedroom, a large entertainment room, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. There are a couple of things that we've been asking for, and the maintenance has been a little slow. The staff and the food are good. The portion size is nice. They have an entertainer come in every Friday, some type of live music entertainer. They have that each month, and they have activities going on throughout the day.

We toured Sunrise of Orange. When we walked in there was a group exercise class going on, and the attendants looked like they were enjoying it. There was music being played, and they were doing movements to music, and the place was gorgeous. The public rooms were lovely and there's a nice outdoor space. It overlooks the park, which has a pond and ducks, and lots of happiness. The facility itself is extraordinarily beautiful. The person showing us around was a young, lovely woman. I was there with my friend and she showed the two of us around, and she was nice. Very informative. The starting pay, or the starting prices were more than I can afford unfortunately, but if somebody could afford it, it looks fabulous. We spoke to a couple of people who were residents there, and they seemed to be very happy. They said the food was wonderful and the dining room was really pretty and nicely set up. We only looked at the single room and it was very nicely appointed. It had a nice big bathroom that would accommodate a wheelchair or whatever device you might need for mobility. They had nice big elevators. Lots of guest parking. If I could afford it, I would have my husband there in a heartbeat.

My mom moved into Sunrise of Orange. The people were very nice and outreaching. They seem to care. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. It's a new establishment. My mom feels good there. We're just really extremely happy with the facility. My mom has a vacant apartment, so she has to supply everything in her room, which is fine. She got an empty room with a bathroom that had a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap. She's got a refrigerator and a nice little dinette in it. She's very happy with it. She's having a hard time taking baths, so they come in and give her help. I think it is overpriced, but that's the way life is, I guess. I'm always getting texts from them. They called me immediately. All of them are so helpful. My mom doesn't want to leave the place now. She's so happy with her little apartment. She has done a 180-degree turnaround. It's worth the money at this point to see my mom so happy. You get a menu, and you choose from that menu what you want. It's a very good place for people who are not ready to be taken care of completely. My mom can come and go when she wants. The only restriction I put on was that she could not go to the park next door by herself. But other than that, she's doing everything on her own. They come in and wake her up. They make sure she takes her medicine. They make sure she gets a shower and all that stuff. They have games, painting, and field trips. They do activities with them.
