The rooms can be single/double. My uncle was in a double room. The facility is not a state of the art brand new looking facility-BUT don't let this be the deciding factor. The STAFF is what makes this facility. I am an RN and have worked for 30yrs in the medical field- this facility, the staff took such great care of my uncle. It is now a year since his passing and I am able to share from my heart how grateful I am for their genuine care and concern for my uncle and my family. They answered all our phone calls, answered to my uncle's needs promptly. Most of the staff has been there for 20+years- that tells you something as well. Everyone from the aide to the director hands on. they have an indoor atrium and often I see the aide taking the patients outside and for a walk around for a change of scenery. they did crafts, have a hairdresser that cuts their hair regularly. Grooming and personal care with dignity. so much to say about this place. It is a hidden gem and if ever I have another loved one that needs this type of care I will place them there without any question. The staff was friendly and caring. The room was clean and nice. Food was well prepared and tasty. My dad felt that he was getting wonderful care. He had daily physical therapy treatments and made excellent progress.

Nice rooms. Constantly cleaning the facility. Staff were very friendly. They took excellent care of my father in law.

West Anaheim Extended Care was an OK place; however, I didn't like it as much as I like the other facility. It is just skilled nursing care, and that was about it. The facility was OK. The staff was OK too.
