Abrazar Senior Center(714) 893-3581The Abrazar Senior Center in Westminster offers various social activities and other senior services for residents aged 55 or older. Services include congregate meals, information and referrals, outreach and employment assistance. The center also offers limited transportation services to seniors aged 60 or older for nonemergency medical appointments to doctors, physical therapists, pharmacies and dentists. Rides must be scheduled in advance. There’s a $2 fee, but it’s waived for low-income seniors.
WOW (Westminster on Wheels) Senior Transportation Program(714) 895-2878Through a partnership with the Orange County Transportation Authority, the City of Westminster provides transportation services to seniors aged 60 and older through the Westminster on Wheels Program. The WOW shuttle travels to various locations throughout Westminster each Monday through Friday, and trips must be scheduled in advance.
Council on Aging - Southern California(714) 479-0107Westminster residents aged 60 or older can receive free services through the Council on Aging – Southern California, a nonprofit organization that provides unbiased information and services to seniors throughout Orange County.
