Dowling Gardens has been excellent, and the staff is very caring. There's a lot of long-term staff there that seem to be very concerned about my mom's well-being. Her apartment is very nice. It's clean, and it was well prepared when she moved in. It was freshly painted and newly carpeted. The maintenance staff is very attentive to anything that we asked them to do. They have movies, bingo, Taichi, and chair yoga. She actually hasn't participated in any of the activities yet, but they have two activities a day. They have a coffee shop. They have dinner, and they have a professional chef on staff. They have transportation to a local supermarket and store. She also hasn't done any of the transportation activities. They have a very nice courtyard, and there are two outdoor patios. She also raves about the food. She said every meal has been delicious.

This is a really warm, lovely place. My grandmother moved there after my grandfather passed away and she often commented on how kind the nuns and staff were there. The food was also very good. I have been back there recently for a beautiful Veterans Day ceremony that they put together and it was really thoughtfully done and decorated. This is a really special place and run by people who genuinely care about everyone who lives there. It is a real blessing to have such loving people caring for such special souls.

The staff at Dowling Gardens was very accommodating, it was independent living, but mother needs assisted living. The residents there looked happy, content, and friendly. They said they liked it there.

This facility in Orangeburg, NY was in my mind above average. I met my grandfather there and he was very happy with the place. The staff were more than helpful to me and very helpful to him. The conditions of the facility as a whole were up to par. I also attended a function at this facility for the Jewish Veterans Society of Rockland County, NY. I was set on joining the military at the time and deemed it fit to get to know these prominent members of my community. Again the staff were very helpful with catering and setting up the premises. I would classify the stay as enjoyable and recommend the facility to others.
