Mermaid Manor Home for Adults was clean, looked good from the outside, and was spacious. The staff was friendly, patient, quick so you don't have to wait too long, and hospitable.

'Mermaid Manor Adult Living is Nice home feeling facility! A few blocks from the Amusement Parks and 1 1/2 blocks from The Coney Island Boardwalk at the beachfront. Nice staff. Mixed residents. Fairly clean and safe. Food & medicine given orderly. My dad is there 1 Yr now & I'm pleased so far. Thank you Coney Island "Mermaid Manor for Adults".

When I entered the Mermaid Manor Home I felt as if my mom and I had walked into a well-maintained hotel. The lobby area is exceptionally big minimizing congestion of corridors and hallways. We sat in the library area where waiting for our tour guide. Minutes later we began our tour of the facility. The dining area was very spacious with room to accommodate several families per visit. Our tour guide escorted my mom and I to the second floor for a look at the room, they included single beds, night and dresser, and two windows in each room. Heaters are standard in all room but center A/C is only in hallways/corridors. I noticed a smell lingering in the air walking through the hallway. (I assume garbage had just been expunged) Overall the activity room and patio areas were being worked on. Much of the facility was clean and airy. I would recommend the Mermaid Manor Home to any friends looking for an assisted living facility.
