My experience living in Silver Sky at Deer Springs so far has been OK. The place is clean, neat, and it's close to everything like stores, Walmart, and my friends. It's expensive, but it's a lot less expensive than some of the other places. The staff is very good, especially the girls who are caring for me. The room is OK. It's small, but it's fine. We have activities like bingo, movies, and I have a nice TV and my computer, so I'm OK. My biggest problem was that I had to give up my car.

Silver Sky at Deer Springs was very clean. My mom doesn't have to have a roommate, so she will have her own space and her privacy. As far as price goes, it would be considerably cheaper versus any of the other facilities. The room had a small kitchenette, a living space, a bedroom, and a bathroom. So, it was kind of the perfect space. The staff was also great. They do trips to the casino, trips to Kmart or Wal-Mart, and have different festivities and stuff inside to the location itself. When we talked to some of the residents, they loved the place and they liked living there. So, that meant a lot to me, seeing somebody that likes living there.

My mother is moving into Silver Sky at Deer Springs Assisted Living this April. It's close to where I live; it's probably within five minutes of where I live. She has a ground-floor apartment, which is great because she has macular degeneration. They have a lot of amenities like open dining. She is a heavy smoker, and they have a patio right by her room where she can go out and smoke. The rooms are very nice; new carpet was put in. The rooms were very spacious, and the shower was conducive for her. (She has to be able to sit down and to have railings to get herself up.) They have coffee throughout the day, and that was a big plus. They have snacks throughout the day, and that was also a plus. It's probably about ninety people at maximum capacity, and that too was a plus. It fell within her budget; it was $103,000. They have nurses on the property, and the doctor she'll be seeing comes every day, even on weekends, and his specialty is geriatrics. I thought the staff was very professional, very caring, very concerned, and they listened to mom's problems very intently.

I was impressed with Silver Sky at Deer Springs Assisted Living. It was an awesome facility, and the people there were fantastic. I wish we could've gotten in there. The apartment was clean, nice, it was set up to help the disabled, and they're doing just everything they can do. The building was very clean, well painted, and immaculate quite frankly. They're a well organized team and extremely helpful. The residents seemed to be happy.

Silver Sky at Deer Springs Assisted Living was very nice but too expensive. I like the location and the community was nice. Some of the staff members were great, but some of them were just OK. The dining room was nice. The rooms were nice as well. They're offering the same things other places are offering, but it is just too much. Well, they had activities and the staff members were extremely nice.

My mother is at Silver Sky at Deer Springs. It is clean, it is newer, and her apartment is very nice; she doesn’t share it with anybody, so I am very happy with it. She has memory problems, but everything else is fine. They manage her medication and watch over her. Every now and then, she complains about the food, but for the most part she doesn’t. The staff seems very helpful. When my mother fell a couple of times, they had her on 2-hour check for 24 hours a day, and that was a peace of mind. We were in a situation where we needed a place badly with assistance in getting her VA, and they were very helpful, plus the fact that it was clean and new and close to my home, so that is why we went with them.

We visited Deer Springs to look for an independent living/assisted living facility for my recently widowed mother. We found the all inclusive accommodations to be clean and comfortable with lots of activities, transportation and many other perks. The staff was extremely pleasant and informative and all the residents we spoke to absolutely loved it! We ended up putting a deposit down and my mom will be moving in April. She is very excited to have somewhere to go where she will have other residents to socialize with. We are thrilled with our choice.

We had a very nice tour at Silver Sky at Deer Springs. They had a multitude of activities. My mother was invited to come over to the facility to spend some time with the residents. That impressed me very much. The staff was very attentive. Looking at their menu, it seemed to be very balanced with plenty of variety. The rooms were very nice. I would recommend it. They had plenty of activities as well, like really nice arts and crafts, puzzles, and other things that she would enjoy doing. They had a list of outings, like shopping and trips to the casino, if she wanted to go.

Silver Sky at Deer Springs was a very nice facility. It feels brand new and is only a couple of years old. The price and the staff were great. They explained things very well financially and how their facility worked. It's lower in cost than other places, and it's a great facility to live in. The rooms were very nice, plus they had pools, hot tubs, and things of that nature.

We like Silver Sky. They were going to work with my mother's income, and they take Medicaid. It was clean and nice. It was just a good impression. The activities were pretty basic -- the same as all the places. The staff was accommodating, and the rooms were a little larger. I would recommend them, and for the money, it's one of the top. The residents appeared to be happy; I didn't see anyone uncomfortable.

Deer Springs Assisted Living was a nice facility, but it was too pricey for my mom. The room was very good. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Overall, it’s a newer and nicer facility. It’s brand new compared to where she’s at now; that’s the big difference.

Excellent staff, excellent food, and Silvery Sky is very clean and secured. I would highly recommend it. My mother-in-law had a 1-bedroom apartment which was really nice, modern, and clean. They have a lot of choices, they have a regular menu, but then everyday they have choices for lunch or dinner. The dining room is a restaurant style room. The staff impresses me the most. They have bingo, live music, field trips, arts and crafts, movies, and different types of visitors and religious services.

I only went to the Silver Sky at Deer Springs once, and it is nice, but it is not as well kept as the other one. It was neat, but I think the staff was a little more laid back. The rooms were very nice, and the food was excellent. There were menus where you can pick what you want like you were eating at a restaurant.

I have no problems with Silver Sky. My mother has been there a couple of months, and so far it has been great. I would recommend this place to others because of the personalized level of care and the cost.

The best assisted living in Southern Nevada! I visited about two years ago and when I returned last month, they had the same Executive Director. He was extremely compassionate and took the time to tour and then sit down to go over pricing. He was the most knowledgeable individual in senior living I had ever met. He informed me of to programs mom could apply for, and then went to get the forms and walked me through them. He did a thorough review of mom's clinical status, and discussed a care plan to meet her needs. The food was excellent! The service was excellent! The staff was warm and caring! I discovered that they have a full clinical team for oversight. The place was alive and busy! What made me move my mom in was during the time the ED dedicated to us, a resident walked up to him to give him some candy and asked about a form for Ltc insurance. He stood up, gave the resident a hug, and said he had already taken care of it. Deer Springs truly is an amazing place for seniors!!!

I had visited Silver Sky and if my parents would go to an assisted living, I wouldn't hesitate to let them go there because it was close by. I liked the fact that the bedroom was a separate room. It was pretty much like a small condo. It had a kitchen area, but it didn't have a stove, it just had a microwave and a refrigerator. The living room was nice and I was impressed with the shower because it had the shower seat and everything in it. We ate the meal and we liked that they had the food for the day, but then they also had the regular menu that you could have any time. They told us that at any time, if my mother had overslept, and she would just want scrambled eggs, omelette or something, that they would make that for her. They would take care of all her meds and all those kinds of things that I really liked. The staff was very friendly. They took us on a tour. I had a personal tour, but then I went back with my brother and my father. It was a different person who took us around and they were very nice.
