My husband is staying in Laurelwood Group Home II. What I like the most is that the caregivers are very kind, nice, attentive, and helpful. The managers and administrators are wonderful and bend over backwards to help my husband. It's a very nice, clean, airy feeling home. It is high-priced, but to us it was worth it because it was just what he needed, and they gave him what he needed. It is small, which he wanted, but it has everything he needs. It has shelves, a closet, a table, and a bed. We have a hospital bed for him. It's light and airy; it's nice. Sometimes they bring me food as well as him, or sometimes he doesn't want to eat his food when he's not feeling well. But he eats more food here than at the large rehab home he was in before. They cooked a lot of different things, but it's simple and homey here. So, he likes the food here, and it's good.
