I visited this facility

I loved Benton House of Raymore. If I ever need assisted living, that's where I want to go. It is lovely. Their food is cooked in-house by a chef. We got to eat lunch there, and it was delicious. The employees were all very friendly. They put a lot of their money into activities for the residents to increase their standard of living. They have regular visits from the owner. Two of the owners, from my understanding, are part owners of the Chiefs football team as well. They visit every month and they talk with all the employees there to see how things are going and if there's anything they can improve. The director was so helpful and friendly, and he was very honest with us. I loved it. The only thing that I didn't care for is the apartments were a little smaller, but that was it. The view is not the greatest because it's one level.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister is in Benton House of Raymore. I think it's very nice, but she's not happy there. My impression of the staff is very nice and very good. Her room there is nice, but it's too small. The food is trash, or slop, that's what she says. One of her main complaints is, because of the COVID, there are no activities for her; no activities whatsoever for the people. They do one thing a day maybe, which is not enough for the assisted living people.

The rooms are beautiful, just like the common areas are No smell, like some Assisted Living places are. Every single employee is friendly and loving with the Residents, and they know the names of every Resident! It is a wonderful atmosphere for your loved ones! Everyone is smiling and friendly, and I'd you are someone who visits your loved ones regularly, the Staff knows your name and the Resident you are calling about. Love the activities...Bingo is my parents favorite. The nurses are so loving and caring toward the Residents as well as the people in the office and the lunch people. I could go on and on! It is a truly nice place...I wouldn't mind living there myself!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father is in Benton House of Raymore. It's wonderful and it's very clean. We haven't seen anything so far that isn't topnotch. There's always something going on. I've noticed that residents especially seem to enjoy the Wii bowling. It's a small place and everybody seems to know everybody; they're very friendly. He seems to like the food very much. They have numerous activities every day. The value for money is quite good as well. There's a lady who comes into their beauty shop three times a week. We're very satisfied.
