I toured Culpepper Place. I liked everything about it. I liked the fact that the apartments had exterior doors to a patio, where residents could have their own patio chairs and a container garden, and, if they had pets, they could take them out. It had French doors for access to the exterior, and interior doors in the building down hallways. The dining room was nice. There were lined seats there. And if you didn't like what was on the menu, they would fix you something from the a la carte menu that day. If you didn't want to eat in the dining room, they would bring it to your apartment. They had a large activities room. When I was there, they were doing the morning devotion. They said it's also where they have TVs and other entertainment. It gave you a very homey atmosphere. When you walked in, there was a check-in center where you signed in and signed out as a visitor, and they also had the residents sign in and out.

My sister moved into Culpepper Place 3 weeks ago. Some residents there are in wheelchairs, but it's a nice place. Her apartment is pretty roomy. She's got a living room, a kitchen, a pretty large bedroom, a large bathroom, and a big closet. They have all kinds of activities. They have a little gym, and they do classes. They also have a nice courtyard. They are doing everything they said they would, and they have good meals there. She likes the food. The staff seems nice and kind. They've helped my sister with many things since she's been there. The women at the front desk are always friendly. I can see that all the residents seem happy.

The people at Culpepper Place of Olive Branch have been working with me. They took me on a tour, they had me over for lunch, and they're very nice people. It's an assisted living facility. I should have somebody with me all the time. They're brand new. They just had their grand opening last month. I had lunch there and they need a little more help with the food. They would have somebody come in and do the physical therapy with me. They only have five people right now and for me, the less, the better. They're very nice. Even the chef who brought the food out was very nice, but they need a little bit more help.
