My friend moved to Minnehaha Senior Living. It's nice. The food is excellent. They serve different food every day. They have tacos, chicken, tuna salad, sandwiches, and roast. They have a good variety. The facility is very clean. They have different activities. They have outings where they take them on a bus and they can take them shopping if they want to go, an exercise room, a TV room, bingo, and coloring. My friend has her own room. She has a one-bedroom apartment. It's big. She loves it there. You have to sign in and out as a guest, even as a resident. So, she is safe there. It is worth it. We had the manager assist us and showed us around, and she was nice, but she was pregnant and when we moved in, she just went early to deliver so Clayton showed us around, and he was nice, too. The nurses are nice. Some of the staff are good. Some of them like their job and you know that, and some of them are just there for the money, but they are working on that already. Some of the bad eggs are sorted out already and being fired.

I toured Minnehaha Senior Living. The staff was very nice and very welcoming. The atmosphere was nice, too. But the rooms were smaller than what my mom and dad would have wanted. It was a great community. If you would like to be in a big city neighborhood, that's kind of what it is. The upkeep and maintenance of this place was very good.

I went to Minnehaha Senior Living. There was a lot going on. The rooms were very nice, and there was plenty of room. It wasn't just a dead space. There was interaction going on, and that's all good quality. It looked like a new building, but it was just refurbished, so it was very nice.

I liked that Minnehaha Senior Living is in South Minneapolis. That's really all I liked. It was not inviting. The price seemed a lot for what you'd get there. There is just really nothing appealing to me. There was no decoration outside. There was nothing like smaller pots, nothing to make it inviting when you walk in. It felt like a nursing home to me. It didn't seem very particularly well kept. The activities I looked at didn't seem very much. I think they need to lower the price for what they're providing. It's too expensive. I didn't see anything by way of amenities. They have a hair salon and maybe some workout equipment. What was nice was there was a coffee shop across the street and some nearby businesses within walking distance. There are some things going around there that are positive. The apartment we looked at was right over a bus stop.

Our tour at Minnehaha Senior Living was very nice. It was very informative. I thought the actual facility was very homey, nice, and clean. They had a lot to offer, which was nice. The staff was very nice. She was exceptional.

I went to visit Minnehaha Senior Living. It's a good location, especially for us to drive to, so it's convenient for visiting. The activities director gave us the tour. We like that they have a lot of activities. They only have about 40 rooms there so it's small, which we liked. We met a lot of people that live there, they're friendly and the place was clean. We just had an overall positive opinion of the place. We like the staff.

Minnehaha Senior Living was our least favorite. The facilities were just old. It didn't have any life to it. You walked in there, and it just seemed dead. It was independent living and assisted living. Your apartment could become assisted living if you needed that help, so you would not have to move to a different building or wing. You could stay right in your own room. They just need to update their facilities. The lady who gave us the tour was really nice and helpful.

My mother is in assisted living at Minnehaha Senior Living, and she seems to like it. She doesn't use the stove in her room, but she does use the refrigerator. It's a clean facility. She's not mobile at the moment. She is waiting for them to get her electric wheelchair, and then she probably would try some of the activities. There are patios with table and chairs, and they took her out there to sit. She is in an apartment with another person. She has her own room, and the other lady has her own room. They have a seating room and a kitchen. The staff is pretty good. They bring their meals to them because they can't go to the dining room, since they are not mobile. They do laundry and housekeeping.

I'm living in Minnehaha Senior Living now. I came here for a virtual tour because that was during the pandemic, and then I moved in here. I like everything here. You get three meals a day and they have activities. They do an assessment of what needs you have, and then those needs are met. I'm pretty independent, so I don't have a lot of needs. They come in and do light housekeeping and they come and strip my bed once a week and then remake it. It depends on what you need here and that's when they do a care plan with you. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's very clean and very well-maintained. Right now, because we're having a shortage of supply and demand, they're always having to substitute things. They don't always have what the menu states. When they order the stuff, they don't always get it. They have bingo and walking. In the spring and summertime, they have a walking group. In the wintertime, we walk in the halls and they have other activities. They have trivia, arts and crafts, and someone comes in and does music and plays the piano. They have different types of music.

I guess it could be worse... Meds are chronically mismanaged. Basic cares are not done. Mother rarely has her hearing aids in. Meals are forgotten ocassionaly (as in they just don't get them). Aids chronically short staffed and managing other patients and concerns while they are in the room "taking care" of their resident. They take the elderly waiver. No activities to speak of except WII bowling (not great for folks with dementia or technology challenged) and snacks. We're currently looking elsewhere because we (family) have to be there daily to ensure our parents are taken care of. Wondering what we are paying for then...

Minnehaha was probably the best place we saw. It is in our neighborhood, so we didn’t have to move far. If you like pasta and lots of carbohydrates, eating at assisted living is wonderful. The have a lot of activities.
