If I could give 0 stars and still post this, I would. If my family and I weren’t there daily to ensure my grandmother’s care, she would have been sitting in filth. They gave her a total of 4 baths in a month. We had to help make sure she was cleaned up. Had to go get our own linens, change her bed, change her trash, clear her food trays (not great food) and at one point I had to take her to the nurse to get a med she was requesting. Her light had been on 3 hours. When asking for anything or for help with anything nurses were defensive or dismissive. If we have a choice, she will never be admitted here again. I spoke to higher ups during her stay and absolutely nothing changed/improved.

Horrible place.. thieves there! My boyfriend was there and nurses take their sweet time when a patient buzzes them. My boyfriend had chest pains.... and coded... because they take their sweet time assisting their patients. Secondly, my boyfriend had a gold necklace on that week he passed and no where to be found! There are thieves in that place... they can't find his clothes or necklace that meant so much to him! They pass the buck on EMS & Sparrow.. well neither one has his necklace or clothes. I would never recommend anyone to go to Regency West!

Would not recommend to anyone!!!! They kept my dad there until all extra covid money they got per patient ran out, then they made a sore on my dad's toe from clipping his nails,my dad is diabetic, as soon as he got that sore they moved him from Regency,to a apartment place in lansing that wasn't handicapped accessible.....he fell twice while there, and went to hospital with bad infection, and had to have several antibiotics...

When someone is admitted to a nursing home or rehabilitation facility, they always come with unique circumstances and needs. Those that staff “good” facilities, demonstrate awareness, sensitivity, creativity, flexibility and a commitment to the care of each and every new resident. When my 96 year old mother in law desperately needed to be admitted to a rehab facility 16 days ago…at a very late hour…the director of The Regency, West Lansing stepped up. After 16 hours in a local ER, and after numerous back and forth phone calls, Mom was finally admitted to the Regency at 11 pm. Over the next two weeks she received superb care, particularly Physical Therapy and Occupational therapy. Her nurses were very sensitive to her needs and those of her 96 year old husband who was her constant companion, supporter and motivator. The food she received was very adequate. Mom came home today and she and our whole family are so very grateful to the staff at Regency Lansing West for the wonderful experience she and our whole family had during her stay. If we ever need the services of a nursing home or rehab facilty in the future, Regency will be our first call.

My mother in law has been here for about a month and your care in substandard. She needs her pressure socks on every day and they put them on when they feel like it.....she was left on the commode for over 30 minutes till someone came back to help her....this is not what you get paid for....I will post this review on you site and any other pertaining to you. We heard you changed management and that someone laid in the hallway asking for help for over an hour and left to lay on the floor....disgraceful. You used to have a high rating but this care is not good!

My wife stayed in Regency. It was very nice, very clean, and almost like a new place. Everything was stellar. They did a very nice job when my wife was there for three weeks. The care was very good. I was quite impressed with it. The staff was very professional. The quality was excellent, so it's definitely worth it. My wife liked the food. I wasn't there during the activity period, but she seemed much more upbeat and smiley after she had gone through activities. She seemed really engaged and pleased. They were excellent.
