My brother is in the Home Sweet Home of Haslett. The place is well-kept, the staff is excellent, and there are about four different living areas. The bedrooms are on the small side, but people usually spend their days in the other living areas, living rooms, and there's a sort of a front porch area. There's a dining/family room area and then another family room and formal sitting area. The grounds are pleasant and well-cared for, the rooms are small, but they're neat and they're nicely decorated. The staff does a good job, and they prepare the meals, not the resident. The community is adequate, it's a very pleasant place, and the people who reside there have been there a while for the most part. My brother shares a room with another gentleman. He's only been there for a couple of months, and as far as I know, there haven't been a whole lot of activities. The dining area is kind of open and there are about four tables that sit the 12 residents. Their food is mid-western home cooking. The facility is clean, it's neat, and I'm comfortable with that. The price is pretty commensurate with all the other facilities, my brother is paying $4200 a month.
