Monday through Friday, during the daytime hours, there is a Registered Nurse on the premises or on call. 15 Bed Pampering Bed/Breakfast Atmosphere!! Catering to all care levels Wheelchair accessible and full size elevator Personal Care (medical and non-medical) Owned and operated by a Registered Nurse Transportation to and from medical appointments We care for hospice patients, also All of the resident care assistants, that provide direct care to the residents, are trained to assist with activities of daily living, are American Red Cross CPR trained, First Aid trained, and certified with the Maryland Board Of Nursing. This place is terrible. I visited my friend's mother and she was filthy. Her hair was dirty, hands were filthy, and clothes were soiled. The whole time I visited, not one person checked on her and I could see that her pants were wet. The staff were sitting in another room on their cell phones phones and laughing. I told my friend that she needs to get her mom out of here asap because there are better places then this. Very dark and depressing. Somebody was yelling the whole time I was visiting from another area.

My mother-in-law lived at BestCare when she was ill and not able to live on her own. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We felt very comfortable knowing she was in a safe place receiving excellent care. The house was very homey and didn't feel institutional like other places I'd seen. I highly recommend BestCare.

Rooms are nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Food is great. Very good value. Activities are catered to groups and individuals based on needs. My mom likes it. Everyone else seems happy there too.

I found BestCare very depressing. It's an old house, and the people were gathered in the living room watching television. The facilities were clean but not modern at all. The person who assisted me was very friendly, very helpful, and willing to supply information. The residents all seemed to be content.
