Malta House

We went to Malta House. It is a very small place. They only have 31 residents, I believe, and it's very homey. It seems that the staff has all been there for some time. I think it's a lovely place for somebody who enjoys a small, family-like atmosphere. My husband likes things that are roomier, and the rooms at Malta House were a bit small for our purposes. I probably would be fine there, but my husband was always a big guy, so he liked things that were larger. For us, the small rooms are probably not the best choice. They provide several levels of assistance. There's a lot of support there for people who need help. The staff member who gave the tour was lovely. She was very willing to answer any questions and very pleasant to deal with. The building was very well kept, too.

Malta House has activities. So, they seemed pretty active with their residents. I liked that they offer different types of services like outdoor activities and even spiritual services for residents who might prefer. It's a very homey environment. They have an on-staff physical therapist, too. The lady that gave the tour was welcoming, very, very open to my questions, and informative about the process. The upkeep was very nice. It was very clean. The dining area was spacious and clean as well. The residents I saw seemed pretty comfortable.
