The staff is professional and very caring toward the residents. It's all very wonderful. The facility has 16 private rooms for its residents and one bathroom for every two rooms. The rooms are simple but clean and nice and all of them have windows that overlook the grounds. My mother likes it very much.

My overall tour experience at Arcadia of Crofton was fine. The place seemed nice. The residents were all up and moving. I went right after breakfast, so everybody was pretty much kind of settling down and watching television. The caregiver seemed pleasant. They have regular rooms. They were just like a normal-sized bedroom in a house. They share their bathrooms, so there wasn't like a suite or anything. The dining area was an open space with some tables. There was nothing spectacular about it. It's like a normal home.

You are so right - it is a normal home! That's exactly what we are going for. We don't have tennis courts or swimming pools, we are a comfortable place to live and be cared for by kind, compassionate staff.
All of our staff get to know each resident on a personal level. The staff understands not only a resident's medical needs but also their personal preferences, like how they like their coffee, and how they like to be woken up in the morning.

It is a beautiful and clean place. There are a lot of residents, so I don’t have to worry about Mom being lonely. There are activities like church services, arts and crafts, and games. They take very good care of their residents and are very professional. The staff is very friendly. They seem to love their work and are happy with what they do. They serve three meals a day. I can take my mom to her doctors' appointments or one of the staff can take her. I am very happy that my mom is living there.
