Prince of Peace Assisted Living Facility

My parents will be moving into Prince of Peace Assisted Living Facility. The overall atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff were very good. They were very welcoming and answered all of my questions, even questions I didn't even think to ask. I came at a time when the group was together in the common room. So most of the residents were there, and they were interacting with each other. It had an overall very positive atmosphere. It was lunchtime as well, so I was invited to join them for lunch. It was home-cooked food. It was great. I watched it being prepared. Based on my initial conversation with the owner and the proprietor of the facility, she had already taken my concerns into mind. The room is ideal. It's a first-floor location because neither one of my parents can manage stairs, even though there is a chairlift in the stairwell to go up to the second floor. She already anticipated what I needed. The room is a perfect size for two people. She's even going to move some of the furniture around to accommodate the second bed for my mom. It was a great experience all the way around. It felt like home. I feel like my parents are going to thrive in that environment.
