Belvedere Senior Housing is a very nice community. The people there seemed pretty bright, alive, and active. I was really impressed. It was clean. The place was pristine. The people running it seemed very business-oriented, and they care about the people a lot. The residents I saw had a smile or a very content look on their faces. From the places that I visited, that was one of the things that stood out about Belvedere. I said, "That's where I want to go." Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable and kind. The brochure was very indicative of what I saw. Sometimes, you see the brochure, and you go to the facility, and it doesn't match, but that one actually matches what the brochure says. I was very impressed with that. Most of the people I saw were in the dining area. It was very roomy. The atmosphere was nice. The food was good. They seemed to be a very caring and capable facility. They seem to deliver what they advertise. I didn't see anything to contradict that. I am sold on this place. I didn't see anything that I thought was a negative or a red flag. All the workers seemed very alert and friendly. The receptionist at the desk was what you expect the receptionist to be. I was pretty impressed.

Belvedere Senior Housing was nice. It was very clean, and it didn't smell at all. It looked inviting. The personnel were polite. The staff who gave the tour was knowledgeable and polite, too.

Belvedere Senior Housing was very nice. Everybody's friendly. It's a very clean place. The apartments were a decent size, very clean, and very nice. It still looks like a brand-new building. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and very knowledgeable about the place. They give you three meals a day. The laundries are free. They take your whole check, but they give you $52 a month to spend. They don't have stoves in the apartments because I guess because they feed you three meals a day, but they do have a small refrigerator in each apartment. The landscaping is beautiful and they do go by your income, which is good.

We have chosen Belvedere Senior Housing in Merrillville for mom. It's clean and updated. It's a brand new facility, and they've got very helpful staff and happy residents. They had studios and 1-bedroom apartments. Everything was first class. It looked great. They had a beautiful courtyard and a lot of the apartments have a patio going out to this courtyard, and it looked nice. The staffers were very helpful and are continuing to be as far as getting my mother admitted over there once she's done with her physical therapy.
