"The place is outstanding. It is very positive and very responsive. It's upgraded. It's the newest of the facilities I visited. It felt like a professional environment. The marketing staff has been able to follow through with us several times. They offered to take a gift to my mother when she wasn't feeling very well even though she's not a resident there. She was out of the area, so we couldn't do that. They offered that I bring the gift/I could deliver it to her, but I declined. They arranged to have us tour an apartment that was available. It's one that I could tell where my mom would stay if she went there. It was impressive."

"This is a small facility, sixteen resident capacity, and the facility itself is not overly beautiful or anything, but this facility has a lot of heart. I've rarely seen a facility that puts as much emphasis on family then this one does. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate family visits, even if they aren't at the best times. They also invite family to all the parties and get togethers and encourage family participation. I've never visited this facility without seeing at least two or three different residents with visitors at any given time, and they're always talking and laughing and generally just having a good time. I also always see children there visiting their grandparents or great grandparents. They literally just light the place up. "

"The Wellington was my very favorite; it was immaculate. The people working there were wonderful. I thought the rooms were great because they had full kitchens. "

"I visited Sunrise at Holladay for my mom. It seemed very nice. However, I was there on a Sunday, so it was hard to judge, but everything seemed okay. There weren't very many people around to make a good assessment of the people who work there. I did speak with the manager and he was very nice and very informative. However, the facility didn't quite fit what my mom would like. The facility was nice, but it was cramped as far as the way it was positioned in the parking and so forth. Also they weren't doing any activities. "

"I will be moving into Sagewood at Daybreak. The reason I chose it is because it's within my price range, they have a woodshop downstairs, and it's about ten minutes from my daughter's house. The University of Utah has built a new clinic out there, too. The staff has been very friendly and very attentive. The room is very nice. They have a pool, two exercise rooms, and a small library. It's a modern-looking building. It has been built in the last five to ten years. It's appointed very nicely, and it has all the modern conveniences to it."

"The proximity to Legacy Village of Sugar House was one of the biggest reasons why we chose it; it's very close to my home. It's right off the freeway; the freeway access makes it very convenient as well. It's new, and it's a nice place. The staff is very friendly; they are great people. The rooms are very nice. They're not large but a little bit on the small side, but it's sufficient for my dad. The dining area looked very nice as well. They have music, television, and crafts; they have all kinds of activities. They have the same things that most places have, like the option of going on outings. I've found that those were pretty comparable everywhere. They said that they have activities every hour and a half."

"My mother Lives here and the place looks awesome and the price is cheap for what they offer! The Staff is friendly and helpful all around I am very happy we found this place! "

"Park Lane Senior Living seemed very nice. There was a beautiful atrium. It wasn't open air, but it was very light and it was in the center where the dining room was. Some activities were going on. There was a gym. We saw a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment, and they both seemed very spacious. The woman who gave us the tour was very sweet, very nice, and very accommodating. They just don't have any real outdoor space to be sitting in and walking in."

"Summerfield Retirement was just a little bit old fashioned and a little bit dated. I know they've been around a while. The cleanliness seemed to be good. It was a little bit awkward at first because apparently nobody told the person in charge that we were coming. They were a little miffed about it. Other than that, it was fine. They were eventually helpful and friendly. The dining area was elegant. The best thing and the reason we went there was the beautiful pond at the back in the gardens. It was really lovely. It was just brimming with beautiful waterlilies, fish, and everything. It was very, very picturesque. It would be a very nice feature to be able to escape to, if you were living there."

"Creekside Senior Living was top-of-the-line. It was brand new, and they still hadn't filled the capacity. There was a snack bar that wasn't opened yet, but when they get more tenants, they are going to open it up. The place was spacious. They even had a health center right in the building that was manned 24 hours a day. The units were nice, big rooms. The staff who assisted us was more like a salesman. The price is high, but you're getting definitely some benefits. They have a physical therapy room and a physical therapist that run classes for the residents if they chose to come."

"What we liked most about our tour was that the rooms were very spacious and had a very homey feeling. We liked the feeling of the facility, and that's probably where we're going to put my sister. The staff member we met, I believe her name was Sarah, she did a wonderful job. She showed us everything, told us about all the different things that they do. It was a nice and clean facility, and Sarah was very knowledgeable. We just liked working with her. We met a few of the residents that told us how much they loved it. They have a lot of music and people that come in and entertain. We really like that. We like the idea that they have a recreation director or events director. I met her and she was very pleasant. They have games and they have just about everything that a person would want. They also have church services there; we like that."

"My dad is a resident of Cove Point Retirement. It is a good community. They recently sold it in the last couple of years. The new owners have made a lot of cutbacks and staff. They've cut back some of the programs that were being offered, but they still do a good job there. They are still concerned about the residents. It is a one-bedroom apartment, the one that my dad is in. It has a full kitchen and a stackable washer and dryer for laundry. It's very clean. It has a gas fireplace, cable TV, internet, and all those options. On my dad's plan, they only send people over once a week to clean what he can't clean every day. They have options to pay more if they need more care or more help on the independent side. They keep the grounds really clean. It's a good place. We were starting to look because they were trying to make some changes. The staff members were very caring and genuine with their feelings and dealings about their residents there. The facility is a little outdated."

"I only did a walkthrough at Spring Gardens Heber. It's a very nice place. It's out of my range. The staff was great. No problem. The facility was very nice. I can't complain."

"I heard the place from a friend who has a friend who moved into Rosegate. After looking at other places, this is the place for me. It?s a brand new all independent living for 55 years old and over. It?s about 4 blocks from the TRAX, a public transportation so it?s very convenient. It has a parking and an elevator. They also allow cats. I?m the first person in this apartment. Each apartment has a balcony. I?m on the 3rd floor, I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. It has a very spectacular view of the mountains from every room. On each floor they have different facilities. The first floor has a gym or an exercise room with everything you can possibly think for exercise. On the second floor is a theater available 24 hours on Tuesdays. It has a VCR, big overstuffed leather furniture with an enormous screen where you can take your own movie and a big popcorn machine. The third floor has a crafts room with all kinds of things for people who like craft. The fourth floor has a large library or reading room. The community room is on the ground floor. It?s like a big hotel lobby with a grand piano and a fireplace. There?s also a fully equipped commercial kitchen for parties or club meetings. Outside is a big gas fireplace, almost like a restaurant barbeque system. It?s just very nice. "
