"Legacy Retirement Residence of South Jordan was exceptional. We were very much impressed with the level of care. We liked it, and it's a perfect location, but it was just more expensive. The rooms were a little small, but the layout was good with the room that they had to work with and it's tidy and clean. They have very nice, large common areas. There were a lot of areas to walk, too. There's a little dog area and a nice path that loops around so you can walk outside."

"I visited two places in Sandy, I like them both, but this community has independent and assisted side. I felt like if my mom's needs change, I can move her to assisted living and that's what has happened recently. We have just moved her to the assisted living part. The facility is clean. The staff and the residents know my mom. I like the personnel and they have lots of activities. Also the food is excellent. "

"My mother will move into assisted care here in February. The community is new, and they have assisted living and memory care. They have electronic devices; in case they fall or need assistance, they can just push a bracelet or necklace button, and they also can monitor where the residents are if they happen to be in area where they shouldn't be. They have individual washers and dryers in the assisted living rooms. We're looking quite forward to this facility, and it makes us a little bit more at home to have a few of the essentials that my mom would have at home. They have both studio and one-bedrooms available."

"I toured the South Jordan View Retirement Community. The community is light and bright, full of activity, and there's a lot of involvement there with the people who run the place. They had a very good chef the day I was there who cooked some delicious food, and from what the ladies were telling me, they have their reserved table towards the back of the cafeteria, and they have about eight to ten ladies that are just full of life, full of fun. I spent about two and a half hours there. We had a great time, and they were very forthcoming about living there and how much they liked it. I went and viewed one of the apartments, which was fabulous. Jimi was very caring, friendly, and open, and she wanted to do whatever she could or answer any questions to help me decide. She showed me everywhere around there. It's just a beautiful community. So that's the place I would have liked to have gone to, but unfortunately, that's too much money for me. The food was delicious. From what they told me, you could order something else. If you want a sandwich, they'll make it for you. It's like having the best of both worlds, having your place and everybody taking care of you. It's wonderful. So, I like it a lot."

"I was very impressed. We visited during Cinco de Mayo and we saw the residents were chatting with each other. Their meeting place by the atrium was festively decorated. They also had entertainment and the residents were very into it. Their rooms were larger and had a walk-in closet. We met several staff members and they were very, very nice. The food was OK. They had a typical large variety main menu."

"We chose Sagewood at Daybreak because it was very open with lots of lights. My mother wanted something that was bright and had lights. It's also close to the temple, and they will take my mother or my father to the temple when they want to go. They have a woodworking shop that is very interesting for my father, and they have a salon onsite. The food isn't served during specific times; they're open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. My father likes to sleep in late, so he can get up and go eat when he wants to eat. The place is brand-new, very nice, and very well-kept. My mom said the people are very friendly, and that they remember her name."

"This is a small facility, sixteen resident capacity, and the facility itself is not overly beautiful or anything, but this facility has a lot of heart. I've rarely seen a facility that puts as much emphasis on family then this one does. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate family visits, even if they aren't at the best times. They also invite family to all the parties and get togethers and encourage family participation. I've never visited this facility without seeing at least two or three different residents with visitors at any given time, and they're always talking and laughing and generally just having a good time. I also always see children there visiting their grandparents or great grandparents. They literally just light the place up. "

"Creekside Senior Living has been great. I am rating them an overall score of 5 because of the attention that they give to my mother. They don't begrudge spending time helping us or with every little detail. They have church activities and social activities, too. I've never seen a happier group of people. They got fabulous food. She got a one-bedroom and it's like her own mini house. They have all kinds of facilities from the laundry area to the reading room, to the bingo place, to the piano parlor, to the snack bar, to the private dining room, and a physical therapy room."

"My aunt will move into Summerfield Retirement. It's a studio apartment with two closets and a large bathroom with a shower. The rooms were a nice size. The studio includes a little refrigerator, microwave, sink, and cupboards to put a few dishes and snacks. Dan is awesome. I went and toured it almost four years ago with my husband for his mom, and he was awesome then. I like the atmosphere. It's just different. It's a place that I wouldn't mind going to if I had to go. It's very upbeat, and they have great activities. They have service projects that they can do, like stuffed little teddy bears. They do it for two different places, and they do it every month. They have crocheting, a book club, bingo, and events in their center. In the summertime they can do a shared garden box for the assisted living facility to plant tomatoes, or do that together anywhere else. These are just some of the things and hobbies my aunt was involved in throughout her life that fit her much better than playing games or doing puzzles elsewhere. They update their carpets regularly, probably every four to five years. They keep it up, and it's a nice atmosphere. It's clean and very nice."

"We found it, and we liked it a lot. They have very nice rooms, good food, and great activities. The staff is extremely accommodating and very friendly."

"The transition for my mother to Spring Gardens has been a very positive. It was a decision that was not made lightly, but has proven to be a blessing to our family. The staff have been great to communicate as we worked through routines to support my mom. The weekly activities keep her busier than she has been in years. A family member commented that the weekly schedule is like a cruise-ship, "always something to do". COVID-19 has made the move difficult for families and residents to visit. However, the efforts to keep communication options open have not gone unnoticed. I have appreciated the nursing staff and CNA's to assist my family in the burden of staying on top of Medicare, medical needs and all of the daily assists that help my mom live comfortably and independently. "

"I think Cove Point is a very nice and friendly environment. It's not as fancy. The staff was very helpful. I was there when my friend moved in, and they were very helpful to get her settled. If I have any question, they answer for me. They seem to care about my friend and other residents. The room was fine and nice. But then they had a water leak. But they moved her and they took care of her to get her across the hall. The one she has now has a big, sliding glass door so she had a lot of light. It was pretty spacious. It had a little section with a sink and a counter, and a big closet. The food was very good. She seems to enjoy it. "

"We have our mother in a retirement living in Fairfield Village. It is nice, new, clean, and the staff is very friendly. The food is superb. We eat there often. The facilities are nice. She has a studio apartment with a kitchenette. I have no problem with the staff. They are all super nice. They know my mom's name, and they go out of their way to help her. "

"It was good. I liked it a lot. They had excellent personnel and they treated you royally. They were superb and very cordial. There were no full kitchens, just refrigerators, and microwaves. The halls were wide enough and the amenities were nice. It was also in a nice location. They served a full lunch and they brought it out around in about five different settings. The food was excellent, but it took about an hour and a half, and that's too long for me to spend eating lunch daily. The floor plans were very lovely. Some of them you look down into a damaged used car lot, so that wasn't pretty. Another one had beautiful mountains and very nice settings. I would highly recommend people to go to see Olympus Ranch."
