"The proximity to Legacy Village of Sugar House was one of the biggest reasons why we chose it; it's very close to my home. It's right off the freeway; the freeway access makes it very convenient as well. It's new, and it's a nice place. The staff is very friendly; they are great people. The rooms are very nice. They're not large but a little bit on the small side, but it's sufficient for my dad. The dining area looked very nice as well. They have music, television, and crafts; they have all kinds of activities. They have the same things that most places have, like the option of going on outings. I've found that those were pretty comparable everywhere. They said that they have activities every hour and a half."

"This facility is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best looking I've visited, and I've seen dozens upon dozens. The insides are decorated in dark, soothing shades, with hardwood floors or fine carpets and artwork on the walls. My friend in this facility especially adores the facility's dog and cat. The cat especially loves to be held and pet. She finds comfort in stroking its silky fur. From what she's said, she used to have a cat when she was younger. I'm not sure how much younger, as it can be difficult to understand her, but the cat doesn't seem to mind. In fact, from what I've seen, the two have a sort of rapport together. She talks constantly to it and it purrs loud enough to sound like an idling motorcycle. This facility, and its pets, definitely have been good for her. "

"My 88-year-old father lives at The Wellington in Salt Lake City (just south on 4522 S 1300 E. This is a wonderful place for seniors to live, and it is both Independent and Assisted. The staff is wonderful; very caring and accessible to requests/concerns/information. They provide many services and lots of entertainment for the residents, and the food is good with varied options. The nursing staff and administration are attentive and responsive. The Wellington just underwent extensive updating and is beautiful and well kept inside and out! My father is very happy as they also have a large exercise room and pool table room as two of several amenities (computer room, beautiful fireplace sitting rooms, game and movie rooms). "

"My friend is here. It's a beautiful place, it's new, and she loves it. She is also close to her old friends, so she's really happy there. She's been there since February 3, and she's doing really, really well. She has a bedroom, a front room, a little kitchenette, and a beautiful bathroom. They have all kinds of activities during the day, like watching movies, playing bingo, and playing other games. They have church activities, too. She goes down every day to have her breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well. It's a great place."

"Heritage Place Assisted Living impressed me. It was a nice facility, and I liked the atmosphere. It's close to the hospital, too. The rooms that I saw were in the Alzheimer's area. I thought they were very nice. I was not planning to eat there, but I had lunch. It was good. "

"I went to visit Treeo South Ogden and the management team was friendly, informative, and cheerful. They listened to my questions and answered properly. The residents seemed to be happy and they had some very good amenities there. I'm looking forward to moving, and I love that I'm going to get a one-bedroom apartment. It's a nice, adequate size, with a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer in the room. It's very lovely. I ate lunch with them and it was very good. The availability of drinks and snacks is good, too."

"Highland Cove had excellent dining facilities, a good environment, nice rooms, and plenty of room to walk around outside. They have a little gym and a library. The upkeep was excellent. I didn't meet many staff, but the ones I met were very, very nice and willing to help. The food was excellent."

"Silvercrest was wonderful. The lease agent called me back several times. There were all kinds of amenities. The one-bedroom apartment was large enough and beautiful. They all had a patio and a balcony. The dining room was elegant, and the kitchen was gorgeous. "

"It was good. I liked it a lot. They had excellent personnel and they treated you royally. They were superb and very cordial. There were no full kitchens, just refrigerators, and microwaves. The halls were wide enough and the amenities were nice. It was also in a nice location. They served a full lunch and they brought it out around in about five different settings. The food was excellent, but it took about an hour and a half, and that's too long for me to spend eating lunch daily. The floor plans were very lovely. Some of them you look down into a damaged used car lot, so that wasn't pretty. Another one had beautiful mountains and very nice settings. I would highly recommend people to go to see Olympus Ranch."
