"My dad has lived at this facility for almost three years. He is very social, and loves the interaction with other residents and the caring staff. The entire facility is kept immaculately clean, numerous activities are provided to keep residents busy, and medical care is given in a prompt and appropriate manner. As important to me, however, is that the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff is kind, thoughtful and caring. They joke with my dad (which he loves) and treat him like a member of their family. It is a huge comfort to me to know that he is in such a special senior living community."

"Legacy Retirement Residence of South Jordan was exceptional. We were very much impressed with the level of care. We liked it, and it's a perfect location, but it was just more expensive. The rooms were a little small, but the layout was good with the room that they had to work with and it's tidy and clean. They have very nice, large common areas. There were a lot of areas to walk, too. There's a little dog area and a nice path that loops around so you can walk outside."

"Copper Creek Senior Living was pretty good. I like the fact that there are washers and dryers in every room. You don't have to go down the hall to do your laundry. The rooms were pretty good sized. Some of them had been renovated. I saw one that had just recently been renovated. The CNAs were there 24 hours a day. If someone fell, there's somebody there to pick them up. They have a pretty nice theater room and an exercise room. They have a very nice family gathering area that's connected to a big balcony. The staff said they were going to put garden planter boxes out there, so that was nice. The view wasn't so great. The staff who toured me was great. They have doctors that would come in."

"Sagewood at Daybreak was a nice place. It looked like a 5-star hotel, but the price was like a 5-star hotel too, and it's out of my budget. The attention was pretty nice. The care and everything was awesome. They have memory care, assisted care, they had activities all day, all the days of the week, and different kinds of food. This place was awesome. If I can afford it, I'd put my mom there. It's just way too much money. When you enter the place, you first go to the assisted living, and then you go to the memory care, which is a more private place because they have people that need special care. I visited both and both looked awesome. There's also a pretty old lady playing the piano for everyone in the memory care. There's music on one of the corners. They were watching TV and having an explanation of how to change the channel or look for what they want to see on TV. There's a different kind of severity of the people in memory care, but everyone seemed happy and looking clean. It's a nice place. The staff was awesome. As soon as I got into the door, I saw my name saying, "Welcome (client's name)." Quickly, one of the staff approached me and asked me, gave me the tour, and explained everything. They gave me a tour of all the places, the kitchen, the dining room, the living room, and the patio. The lady that made the appointment with me was awesome. She also offered me to stay in contact if I need something even if I won't be able to put my mom there. Also, the guy that guided me through the tour was amazing. They gave me the calendar for activities and the diet for the week. They had activities that were out of the norm. They have activities hour by hour. This is a completely new building, and everything inside makes you feel warm like you are at home. It's a really elegant place. It's the place that I would put my mom, but I cannot afford that high price."

"Spring Gardens Midvale is small and intimate. There are only 47 beds in the place, which is very small. Everyone seems to know each other. There are people with walkers and people without. It smelled clean. It was very clean and modern. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and very well-informed. They also seemed to be kind of flexible. I was looking for respite care, and they had only one room designed for that. But the staff said, 'We could turn this or that room into a respite.' So they seemed quite flexible. The dining area looked intimate, clean, and nice. As I was leaving, somebody's granddaughter said, 'This is a nice place.' And I said, 'Thank you for telling me.' I feel good about my mom being there."

"We really like Treeo Orem. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and great. The grounds are very well maintained. My husband is in a studio apartment that is adequate for what he needs and can do. He brought his own furniture in. He is served breakfast and dinner only and loves the food. The dining area is set up so that he can sit with different people and meet quite a few residents. "

"I visited Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. It was a very nice facility. It was well maintained, and they seemed to be well staffed. It was probably overall the nicest community that I have visited. The layout of the facility was very spacious, well-maintained, very clean, very well designed, and decorated. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very helpful. They had an exercise room, a hair salon, a library, a gym, meeting rooms, and a movie room. They had a nice dining area, and they had an area for private dining."

"Covington Senior Living was a really pretty place. They offered almost all of the same stuff as others but it seemed that they're somewhat new."

"We chose Avalon Senior Living Apartments because the price was very reasonable. It has a very nice exercise room, a library, a social gathering room, a games room, and an outside picnic area for barbecue. The corridors are really wide. The apartments are nice and spacious with fully equipped kitchens, and there's space for a washer and dryer. The staff seems really nice, helpful, and pleasant. They don't have too many organized activities though."

"Grovecrest Villas was fabulous and almost brand new. They have beautiful, large, sunlit common rooms, and a gorgeous library on the second floor. They have a hair salon, an exercise room, and a theater room. The rooms were larger than what you would see in the assisted care places, but they don't offer any sort of care at all. The rooms have washers and dryers, which is fabulous. It was one of my favorite places and it was inexpensive because the amenities were much less."

"It is a warm, friendly, facility. They care for the residence 24/7. The residence can participate in activities, or can enjoy the privacy of their own room. There are flower gardens and bird feeders to enjoy natures beauty. The hot tub and koy pond need some work. The LDS temple is just down the street. Mountain views are awesome. The CNAs and staff care about the residence. Meals are served at the dinning room table or in the rooms. Church is televised from the nearby ward. "

"Covington Senior Living looked very nice, and the people were very friendly. They have a long list of activities that you might enjoy, entertainment from time to time, and lectures (where people come in and have discussions). The place was very pleasing when you walked in. It's a newer one. They have courtyards and space to walk and sit. We went into some occupied apartments. One of them said that he really loved it there. We went into a one-bedroom, and it all seemed roomy. It is going to be a downsize, but I think it will be nice and cozy. The woman that took us around was really friendly. She knew the residents really well."

"I live in a 55+ community called Meadow Park Villas. This is independent living. I am really glad I moved here. It's been better than I ever hoped. The staff members are efficient. We have a monthly dinner together. There's a swimming pool and a clubhouse. They have a small gym and a little movie theater in the clubhouse. I really like it. I'm really grateful I moved in."
