I visited this facility

Holiday Seville was nice. The apartment we looked at was one bedroom, and I liked it. There's no kitchen because they feed you. But there were a lot of things in the fridge. We had lunch there, and everybody was so nice. The facility was clean. I enjoyed it. It's the one I've been looking forward to. They have a book club and an exercise place. They also have individual exercises. They do take a few laps around the city. They have a beauty salon and barbershop. They have laundry that you don't have to pay for. They have parking spots listed on the driveway around the parking area for every room, so every room has its own parking. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good. The layout is good. They have a place where they have a meeting. I can't say anything bad about the whole place.

My dad will move into Holiday Seville next week. We chose this place because of its location, we felt very comfortable with the staff, and it was reasonably priced. The whole place has just been remodeled, so it's very nice. The room is a suite where it has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living kitchen area. They have a big dining room. There's dining room eating or they can bring it to their rooms if they feel that they just want to have it in their rooms. They have all kinds of activities. They have movies and programs. They have all kinds of activities for them to do. They have a van if they want to make certain trips to certain stores on certain days. And I think they do some, where they take them sightseeing a little bit and things like that.

I toured Holiday Seville. The people seemed very friendly. The residents were out and about and very active. They're in the middle of remodeling, so it's not all put together. Where other places had a library, an exercise room, and a theater room, Holiday Seville doesn't have those right now, but they are in the process of making them. They are working toward that quickly. Those were my least favorite things about them, but those are changing. The staff was great though. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They gave me a calendar of activities and it looked like they had some great activities.

Beautiful apartments, fun events, and the staff really care about the residents. The all inclusive pricing makes this community a great value. I’ve visited this community over the past 7 years and I’m so impressed by how wonderful the staff is. You can tell they truly care about the residents. I know where I want to live when I retire!

The Seville is a beautiful place. Although it is a bit of an older building, the upkeep is outstanding. They are undergoing some renovations right now, and it will look like a brand new place when they are done! The residents seem happy, the employees are kind, the food is great and the apartments are very good for the price you pay.

I've toured Holiday Seville twice. I took my daughter with me the last time. We had lunch, looked around, and signed papers. The person that toured us was very nice. It's certainly a clean, adequate facility with lots of amenities, libraries, weight rooms, hobby rooms, and those kinds of things. They're doing a lot of remodeling there and the room I'm moving into was empty, but they are going to go in and paint and re-carpet and re-fixture the bathroom. So, I have not seen it in the finished condition yet. We had chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and vegetables for lunch. It was not the best they've had, but it was very good. Their dessert was excellent. The food was certainly adequate. We had no problem with that. Their dining area was well laid out. It was pretty well full of people when we were there and clean. The people waiting for us at the table were just extremely polite and sweet. They have a barber shop and a private dining room that seats about eight people if you want to bring guests. Cleanliness was excellent. Everything seemed very clean and well laid out. It's a very nice facility. It's large. There's a walking path around it, which is probably about a quarter of a mile.

Holiday The Seville is the least expensive of the places we have looked at, and that's because it's independent living rather than assisted living. It's quite inappropriate for us because we don't have a car, and we would be simply isolated there except for people that we might make the acquaintance of in this facility. Our children are too far away, so they wouldn't be coming to visit us much, so we would be pretty isolated, and that is quite a negative, but it's not the fault of the facility. It's very pleasant. I have very positive thoughts about that. They tend to be spread out a long way. The two-bedroom units that they have are at the ends of a distant hallway, and I've learned that that's not a good place to be if you're thinking of getting a nurse to come or something. The food was good. The staff was fine. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and they answered questions just fine. The facility is a little older than many of them around here, but I think it's well-kept. There's only one elevator for the facility, but there's quite a bit of room upstairs. I can imagine that if there were ever an emergency, it would be rather difficult for everyone to get on the elevator and get out. I think there should be a couple of elevators there. The rooms seemed a little bit small to me.

We have placed my father in Holiday The Seville. What I like about the best is the staff and the administration. They are great and very helpful. The people are great. He has already made a couple of friends. He was hesitant at first to go there, but now he's enjoying it. He enjoys having his little apartment, plus he has three meals a day. They have home health care and physical therapy there. All of his needs are taken care of right there, so he could still live independently but still have a lot of help. What I don't like is the facility is probably one of the last Holidays that has been renovated and talking to the guests, they've been telling them for years it's going to get renovated, so I hope that they do renovate it soon because it's kind of rundown.

What I liked the best about Holiday The Seville is the food. It is really good and the three meals are served well. The staff is outstanding. Every one of them is. I moved in and within the next couple of days, all of the staff was calling me by name. They're just so helpful and courteous all the time. The lobby is the atrium area and we have a lot of activities there, like concerts and stuff. There are also morning exercise classes, brain fitness classes, book club, bingo, Rubik's cube, game nights, and movie nights. Then on Sunday, they have church services, of course.

I attended an art class at Holiday The Seville and I talked with a few people there. It is a lovely place, the people there were lovely, and they had wonderful programs. It's very nice and very well done. The rooms were very nice and very clean, but it's not for me at this time. For one thing, I needed something bigger. I needed to have two bedrooms for my family to visit. They have a place for the company to stay, which I didn't look at. The staff was wonderful. I had a snack, which was wonderful. I attended the painting class and several people who live there brought their painting supplies, and so did I. They had a man come in who sang and played the grand piano there, and people gathered together and listened, and that was lovely too.

My mom moved into Holiday The Seville. We liked that it had a very social atmosphere where my mom could make friends. We liked the dining room and the options for the three meals that are prepared, and we also liked the option that they had a home health care service that they work through if she needed extra care. So that was a big factor in choosing it. They supply a small refrigerator, and then it's got just a small kitchen and it's got a sink and it's got a pretty good amount of cabinets in the kitchen. But we did have to bring her own microwave. The staff is extremely friendly, and helpful, and go out of their way to make my mom comfortable. My mom thought the food was great. They have a full-day schedule of exercises in the morning. And then they do field trips and provide transportation to grocery stores and different community events. They also have performers come in and do performances.

I toured The Seville. The person who gave me the tour was the manager, and she was very kind and courteous. I enjoyed the place. You would walk in and it's open room in there. The dining room is actually down at one end of that. I had lunch there, and it was really good. I sat at a table with a couple of other people that were already there, and they were super nice. They even asked the manager about me a few days later what I was going to do. The biggest surprise I had of all the places was how many choices of room styles there were. It was nice. They have a couple of libraries. They have a computer room on the first floor where you go if you don't have your own computer or whatever. The dining area is a really big open area. It felt like you were on a cruise because it just seemed like you were in a big open area eating.

I went to The Seville. It's very nice over there with Sarah, and she showed me about the same thing as the other place, moved around, but the facility was a little smaller, but nicely appointed, and well done. Fewer apartments, smaller eating area, everything downscaled. I was very well treated. Sarah was delightful, answered all my questions, and seemed very knowledgeable about the facility and the amenities, as well as the services at The Seville. They indicated that they had classes. They had a nice kind of courtyard area out of the back of the facility. It seemed very nice.

What we liked most about our tour at The Seville was that the rooms were very spacious and had a very homey feeling. We liked the feeling of the facility, and that's probably where we're going to put my sister. The staff member we met, I believe her name was Sarah, she did a wonderful job. She showed us everything, told us about all the different things that they do. It was a nice and clean facility, and Sarah was very knowledgeable. We just liked working with her. We met a few of the residents that told us how much they loved it. They have a lot of music and people that come in and entertain. We really like that. We like the idea that they have a recreation director or events director. I met her and she was very pleasant. They have games and they have just about everything that a person would want. They also have church services there; we like that.

It was very well taken care of in terms of the people, the grounds, and everything. The people were very friendly and kind. I didn't try the food, but I saw a menu and it was lovely. I am/was a resident of this facility

The rooms here at The Seville are a good size. I'm in a studio, and it's very nice. The entertainment is terrific. They have scheduled a concert this afternoon at two o'clock. They have two or three groups come in every week. They're really quite good entertainment. They have great staff, and they're very friendly. The people living here are very friendly, too. Right now with COVID, we have options to either have our meals in our rooms or down in the dining room. I use the dining room because it's a good time to visit people. It's centrally located, and it's only about three or four blocks from State Street, which has most businesses on it, and Center Street, which has plenty of places to eat if you want to go out. The grocery store is also only five blocks away. The place is beautiful and well maintained, and there are lots of activities and games to play. We have scheduled games. I can't say anything about it that's not good. They are in transition, so they don't have a regular chef right now, but they'll have a chef within the week. They have a sous-chef and chefs coming in to take the place of the ones we have. They've been very good, but we just had a couple of meals where it seemed like they went out to get pizza for it to be re-served. Other than that, it's fine. The only thing that I would complain about is that they have a bus that takes us to doctors' appointments and shopping, but I can't use it because it doesn't have a chair lift. That's the only complaint I have. I tried getting into it, and I'd have fallen on my knees, and if I were to try to get down, I would probably fall.

I visited The Seville. It was my second choice. I would give the staff a five because of their friendliness and their willingness. The food was a little starchy. It was good food, excellent food, but it was just a little starchy. It depends on if you're really into lots of vegetables and not so much on starch. The facility is really beautiful and green; there are lots of trees.

The Seville's staff was great. The seniors were active, friendly, and the man I initially did the walk-through with was an awesome guy. When I went there, they had a band with a Valentine's Day dance, buses that take people places, and activities that people could join. It felt really good, and it was a beautiful place. The outside and grounds were really pretty. I felt like they would be very accommodating.

My grandmother moved into The Seville. We felt great that we know she’s in a place where she’s happy, well taken care of, and has a community around her with people like herself. The staff is really great, patient, really kind, and that makes a huge difference. We liked that everything was all inclusive, the room, the three meals a day, the 24-hour snack bar, laundry facilities, and workout rooms. It would be nice to have lots of games and events going on that keep the seniors happy and entertained. It was nice that they included everything in the price.

The Seville was a very nice facility, but I didn't think that the help was that good. It's a very attractive building and it's on three different floors. The problem I had with it was I had a very good friend who lived there and he fell in his room and couldn't get up and no one checked on him for two days. We moved him out of there because he needed to be in a place where he would have nursing available and people who will check on him. The rooms were large and very attractive. I had some food there and it was very good. They also have some activities there.

Hi Clifford, we greatly value the feedback you have provided. We are looking into your experience further and take reviews like yours seriously. Your comments have been shared with the regional and community management teams. The Seville was really well-run. The food is good, and they had a lot of choices. I talked to the residents and there weren't any complaints. The rooms were a good size. The calendar of activities were adequate for my mother. She's legally blind, so I just wanted to make sure that there were people who would check in on her and get her involved. The church is held right there, so she won't have to go anywhere. It's a nice place and literally two miles from my house, so I could walk there if I needed to. This was the best fit for my mother.

I like The Seville very much. It’s the one we feel the best about. We went to lunch there, and the food was excellent. I was really impressed with the amount of activities they had. They’re close to two universities, so they have a lot of university students that come and perform and provide music and entertainment. I felt that the people there were more active and independent, and I thought that was a very positive thing. They had a little bit of birthday celebration for the residents who had a birthday during that month. I liked the rooms very much. My mother most recently lived at The Seville. She liked it there very much and lived there for about two years. The rooms were a bit smaller than the one that she’s in now, but she was also in a studio apartment. What she liked was that they had multiple activities almost every day and entertainers coming in, so they had lots of music and entertainment. I think the food was pretty good, and the people were all very nice. They changed management about three times and I think that was kind of confusing for everybody. Otherwise, it was a lovely facility at a good price and great location, so they did well. It’s an independent living facility, and we moved her to Grand Prairie into an assisted living facility.

Also, at The Seville, they have a very long list of extracurricular activities that is extensive.

My father was in The Seville. It's very nice. It didn't have nurses all the time, but they came in once a week and took blood pressures. It is a beautifully well kept facility. They have programs geared to the people living there. They transport you to the doctor and grocery shopping or anything that you want to do, and they make you 3 meals a day. My father and his wife didn't participate in activities, but they had people coming in and doing musical things, and they also had some in-house activities. You had your own little apartment. You could bring in your own furniture. Your pets are welcome. I found that out just because they have sent me quite a bit of information.
