New employees receive dementia-specific training. Additional dementia care training is done at least once a month.

We have one of the most creative activities directors in the state. Our residents love to go on scenic drives, enjoy outside entertainment, do arts and crafts and be involved in the surrounding community.

We offer a lot of exercise programs based on the activity level of the residents, everything from chair yoga to stretching to yoga. Our employees are aware of what our residents like to do and encourage them to come to activities and be active.

We are located in a small town in a residential area. Our residents love to go on walks nearby. Spanish Fork and Springville are ten minutes away with shopping, parks, museums and more. We often take our residents on drives to these close by locations.

We take the safety of our residents very seriously. Everyone visiting our community must check in at the front desk. We log all visitors through the day. We also only have one door with access in and out during the day.

We have all resident families fill out a detailed packet with all contact information. We follow these instructions to contact family members directly. We help families know about special events at our community through email.

We have a wander risk policy. We also meet daily as a staff to discuss any potential risks. We keep families informed about changes in risk.

All activities at our community are open to all residents. The activities director will go and get memory care residents and bring them to the activities. Memory care also provides separate activities specifically for memory care to engage residents. We always have something fun going on!

Our assessment is run by our care team. Assessments are done as needed as team members bring concerns to the team at our daily meetings. We are constantly evaluating and reevaluating,

If residents need meal assistance, our CNAs will provide that assistance. They will also provide reminders to ensure that our residents are eating regularly and getting the proper nutrition. We have a lot of one-on-one attention to our memory care residents.
