The best part about Rocky Mountain Care Spring Hollow Assisted Living and Memory Care is it is close to home. The least part would be the feel of the place. It was nice. I don't have anything bad to say about it. It was a lot cheaper. The staff was very helpful. The building was nice. It just seemed a little older.

We went to Rocky Mountain Care Spring Hollow Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was not acceptable, though. The staff people we met were very good, but we did not like the layout of the room. They had a community shower, and they did not have an individual shower in the room, and that was not a positive. The room was nice, but my brother would not like the community shower. Everything else seemed fine. They were good people. It's a small facility. It only has 16 rooms. However, if my brother were to move, I would like a few more neighbors for him.

My brother moved to Rocky Mountain Care Spring Hollow Assisted Living and Memory Care. They look in on him. They're providing food. They make sure he's comfortable. It was reasonably priced and had good service. It's clean, it's organized, the rooms are easy to find. The dining area has a bunch of tables next to the kitchen. They have a television, games, and a conversation area. It was less money than the other places we looked at.

We had so many concerns about how inadequate the care was here, we filed a complaint with the state. When the state went for an unannounced survey of the facility, there wasn’t even an employee in the building when they arrived. They were cited for 2 class one deficiencies (potential for harm or death, medication errors, residents left in the building unattended) and 20 class two deficiencies. (Chemicals left out where the residents good get into them, poor nutrition etc).

We chose here for my sister-in-law because of the location, and she has been now for three months now. They are very good to her, they have very good cooks, and she is enjoying the food. The staff is very good, but the rooms have small bathrooms. The place is very clean. They do her laundry, and that’s good. They are really great and assist with what she needs.
