The transition for my mother to Spring Gardens has been a very positive. It was a decision that was not made lightly, but has proven to be a blessing to our family. The staff have been great to communicate as we worked through routines to support my mom. The weekly activities keep her busier than she has been in years. A family member commented that the weekly schedule is like a cruise-ship, "always something to do". COVID-19 has made the move difficult for families and residents to visit. However, the efforts to keep communication options open have not gone unnoticed. I have appreciated the nursing staff and CNA's to assist my family in the burden of staying on top of Medicare, medical needs and all of the daily assists that help my mom live comfortably and independently.

I only did a walkthrough at Spring Gardens Heber. It's a very nice place. It's out of my range. The staff was great. No problem. The facility was very nice. I can't complain.

We toured Spring Gardens Heber. I like them the best. The lady who was taking me on the tour said that they had a little courtyard for people who like to go outside. They were very nice. The staff who toured me was very nice. They showed me the dining room, but they didn't offer a meal. There were no appliances available in the memory care. The room looked small, but it was nice. You bring all your own furniture, TV, or whatever. The staff said smaller rooms were less confusing. They weren't very big, but that was alright. They have an activity director. They have a lot of card games. They have a lady who comes in and plays the piano. People enjoy that. The staff said she is really good and plays things that they know. Each day of the week they have something. It may be like an art project one day, a Hawaiian Day, or different activities like bingo.

spring gardens staff has done such a wonderful job with my mom. before our latest challenges they did an amazing job with mom. the best care shes ever had. after the virus scare they did everything and more to keep the residents healthy. the staff is so wonderful and caring. they check on her often and help her every day to get the tasks done we take for granted. the front office staff is so helpful and it amazing the extra effort every one of those front office folks takes to care for mom. food is great. mom loves it. its like restaurant. her room is spacious, but just big enough cleaned weekly. nice big window. the views in heber are so awesome. the people that work at spring gardens should be very proud of the facility. so clean. quiet. great food. great service. excellent, excellent medical staff. thank you all soooo much.

My dad has lived at this facility for almost three years. He is very social, and loves the interaction with other residents and the caring staff. The entire facility is kept immaculately clean, numerous activities are provided to keep residents busy, and medical care is given in a prompt and appropriate manner. As important to me, however, is that the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff is kind, thoughtful and caring. They joke with my dad (which he loves) and treat him like a member of their family. It is a huge comfort to me to know that he is in such a special senior living community.

I know several people that live at The Abbington. It is newer. The rooms are clean and spacious. The dining area is a little bit more upscale than the other community. The food was great. I only met two staff members. They were very nice, very informative, and very open to answering all my questions. They have a tremendous activity schedule. Plus, the library and the senior center are directly across the street from the community, so residents have the added use of the library as well as the local senior center. It is also in very close proximity to downtown Heber where there are lots of new places to eat that are popping up everyday. They also have a nice path that goes through the facility, so you can go outside and walk around.
