Assisted Living Communities in Lindon, UT

"Mom moved to the Charleston at Cedar Hills about 1 ½ week ago, so she is all set up. The staff that worked with us was very kind and very considerate, and they made mom feel very much at home. They have contacted an outside pastor to come in and visit with her, they have got it all set up for her to go to church and everything, and all that meant a lot. It is a very classy place. Their dining area has chandeliers and tablecloths, very nice tables, and fancy chairs. It sits right up against the Wasatch Mountains, so out of some of the windows when you look out -- and it seriously is probably no more than a quarter mile from the mountain -- you are just looking right out at a really big mountain. It is just really a beautiful location. I think one of the main issues we had was being able to keep her dog, and she was able to do that. One other thing we like about the Charleston is that they have between 70 to 80 residents, so it is not quite as large, and it is a little more personable. "

"Legacy was quite nice but there wasn’t much going on. It had a big yard for walking, ponds, larger and felt a bit more exquisite, to our liking. "

"Highland Glen is my number one. It's beautiful inside. They have their act together. I can't say nothing but good stuff about them right now. My sister-in-law has been there. I visited her there, so I got to spend some time in the building and talk to the people. You can use your own furniture and they have all kinds of little extras there that I liked. Every time I call her during the day and talk to her she's busy doing something. I remember a family that I talked to and everything I heard about it was good. It's nicely set up. My sister-in-law made a comment several times that this was her home, and what made her say that was that she was sleeping in her own bed, she had her dresser, her easy chair, and her loveseat, everything from home. It really felt like she was home."

"I think Cove Point is a very nice and friendly environment. It's not as fancy. The staff was very helpful. I was there when my friend moved in, and they were very helpful to get her settled. If I have any question, they answer for me. They seem to care about my friend and other residents. The room was fine and nice. But then they had a water leak. But they moved her and they took care of her to get her across the hall. The one she has now has a big, sliding glass door so she had a lot of light. It was pretty spacious. It had a little section with a sink and a counter, and a big closet. The food was very good. She seems to enjoy it. "

"Besides the size, BeeHive seems more like a home. The other ones were more like apartments to me, and I like more of a homey feel. It had all the bedrooms around the big living area, and I like that setup for my mother. The staff is really good. They’re really helpful with her needs and, if she needs anything, they always let me know. They seem to treat everyone with a lot of respect, and I’m very happy with that. They have activities every day, different types of music performers come in and perform regularly, church services, and a nice patio area that when the weather is nice, you could come out there, and things like that. "

"Saratoga View Senior Living is a very nice facility. I went there to visit my brother and sister-in-law. It's brand new and very nice. The staff members that we've had experience with are delightful. They are very friendly, very helpful, and willing to take you and walk you down to the room if necessary. They've just been very helpful and very kind. They've treated my brother and sister-in-law very nicely. My sister-in-law has Celiac so she has to eat gluten-free food, and it's not appetizing. For some reason, they're feeding my brother the same thing. So they're unhappy with the food. The facility though is beautiful."

"River Pointe Assisted Living was much better than the other place. It was a much newer facility. It had 56 residents. It had a larger footprint because it had outdoor areas, whereas the other one was kind of like in a neighborhood, so it was restricted in property. The lady who took us on a tour was good. We went into a room that they were painting. It was beautiful. They had individual showers there. We met a couple of their staff members, and they were very good. The facility was very nice."

"Spring Gardens Draper is wonderful. It is clean and new. They have a wonderful staff, who were great to personalize our walk through. They made the transition of my mother-in-law very easy. They have exercise classes, social activities, walking, and a hair salon. We see my mother-in-law every day, and she is doing great. They also have a library, an ice cream parlor, an outdoor park area, and a craft room. I had a meal there, and it was delicious. They have a wonderful chef."

"My husband moved to Valencia at Draper. They're taking care of him and giving him the medication when he needs it and all that kind of stuff. It's just worked out. They serve three meals a day. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a little courtyard in the memory care unit. It's small, but it's sufficient."

"Crescent Senior Living is the perfect place for my parents. Everyone is so nice and they go above and beyond our expectations in every aspect. It is a beautiful facility delicious food and the kindest and best care. Love this place!"

"This is a small facility, sixteen resident capacity, and the facility itself is not overly beautiful or anything, but this facility has a lot of heart. I've rarely seen a facility that puts as much emphasis on family then this one does. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate family visits, even if they aren't at the best times. They also invite family to all the parties and get togethers and encourage family participation. I've never visited this facility without seeing at least two or three different residents with visitors at any given time, and they're always talking and laughing and generally just having a good time. I also always see children there visiting their grandparents or great grandparents. They literally just light the place up. "

"I toured Cedarwood at Sandy. The facility was nice. The staff was nice and seemed like there were a lot of activities for her to do. The lady who helped with the tour was just helpful and insightful. The facility was clean."

"I like Spring Gardens Mapleton because it's a very small community. The gentleman who showed us around was extremely sweet. It had a nice area, and I enjoyed the fact that they do so much with families. Like they'll have a Halloween party and they're expecting like 400 people and families to come. They will have a big Thanksgiving dinner and a big Christmas. You have to start with a studio apartment there, and then when a one-bedroom opens up, you can move. But they look like very comfortable small apartments. Their dining area was very nice, and I liked the idea that they didn't have a set schedule for dining. You could eat anytime you wanted from 7:00 in the morning till 7:30 at night. They have a lot of things going on. Some people were playing Wii bowling. They have a bus that takes you to Family Dollar and things like that, and that's a set schedule. People were playing cards. They have dances, music, and all kinds of things going on."

"I went to the Legacy House of Spanish Fork. A unique address in a residential area. The rooms were average. There were options for the residents for food, and there was the opportunity for them to prepare some things themselves. There was a schedule of activities. The facility looks very good from the outside, and as you drive away going right into the residential neighborhood, it's a unique feeling. The staff is delightful, very helpful, and intuitive. She did a great job"
