We ended up getting settled in the River Pointe Assisted Living. They were good to work with. They didn't take Select Health, but they had somebody to help kind of switch over my father's insurance, and they were willing to help cover it until the insurance kicked in. The building was really clean. The staff seemed really nice and helpful. One other thing I didn't know about them is you're supposed to furnish your own room. Luckily, they helped and were able to give us some donated furniture. The nurses were great. My dad seemed to like the hotdog he had.

River Pointe Assisted Living is very elegant and very accommodating to families. It feels like home. It feels warm, comfortable, bright, and sunny. They're very personable and well-organized. It was more family oriented. They also had many amenities. During the time that I was there, there wasn't a whole lot going on.

It seemed very homey and had a lot of activities for residents to do. I ate a good meal there. The residents seemed happy. The staff was very informative.
