"St. Joseph Senior Living Apartments was clean and well-organized. They showed me a very small studio room. The staff was very cordial. They have field trips once in a while. The dining area looked clean to me. I had a very good experience."

"Our experience with Legacy Village of Sugar House has been very good. The rooms have lots of variety from studio to two-bedroom and many choices to select from. They've got excellent amenities and excellent activities, lots of choices, lots of input. They have a resident counsel that gives input. It's a good value. My father is in assisted living, but it has independent living and memory care as well. The staff is very good, very friendly and outgoing. They've got a great wellness center, great reading room, and very good community spaces. My brother said the food was pretty good."

"I toured the South Jordan View Retirement Community. The community is light and bright, full of activity, and there's a lot of involvement there with the people who run the place. They had a very good chef the day I was there who cooked some delicious food, and from what the ladies were telling me, they have their reserved table towards the back of the cafeteria, and they have about eight to ten ladies that are just full of life, full of fun. I spent about two and a half hours there. We had a great time, and they were very forthcoming about living there and how much they liked it. I went and viewed one of the apartments, which was fabulous. Jimi was very caring, friendly, and open, and she wanted to do whatever she could or answer any questions to help me decide. She showed me everywhere around there. It's just a beautiful community. So that's the place I would have liked to have gone to, but unfortunately, that's too much money for me. The food was delicious. From what they told me, you could order something else. If you want a sandwich, they'll make it for you. It's like having the best of both worlds, having your place and everybody taking care of you. It's wonderful. So, I like it a lot."

"I visited a lot of places, and I like it the best. It was a very friendly, happy place and open. Everybody was nice to be around. The food was excellent. When I visited, there was entertainment happening for the residents. They invited some people to sing, which was very nice."

"Sagewood at Daybreak would have been my top choice had I not moved my father recently to another facility. It is an extremely nice facility and doesn’t feel like an assisted living community. There are different options for food. They have memory care, assisted living, and independent living. The assisted living and the independent living co-mingle with each other, so that they are not seeing people sitting around in wheelchairs and does not feel like you are surrounded by older people. If you are looking for a higher-end community and you don’t mind paying more, this is the place to choose. The rooms have granite countertops. The facility is new and nice. "

"My Husband and I did a tour not to long ago. It is very nice and has a great location. We sat in the dining room for lunch and enjoyed the company of others. "

"I visited Parklane, and it's wonderful. The rooms are different sizes. The one I looked at was a 1-bedroom. It had a nice view of the mountains."

"This is a small facility, sixteen resident capacity, and the facility itself is not overly beautiful or anything, but this facility has a lot of heart. I've rarely seen a facility that puts as much emphasis on family then this one does. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate family visits, even if they aren't at the best times. They also invite family to all the parties and get togethers and encourage family participation. I've never visited this facility without seeing at least two or three different residents with visitors at any given time, and they're always talking and laughing and generally just having a good time. I also always see children there visiting their grandparents or great grandparents. They literally just light the place up. "

"Creekside Senior Living was very nice, new, and modern. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful with all the questions I had. The rooms were all very nice and looked very comfortable, and it looked like Mom could have all the amenities there to take care of herself. We were there about the time they had a carnival. They had people from the outside come in and entertain the guests. They had a piano there, which she likes to play. They had transportation and a small gym where she could walk on a treadmill/have physical therapy there, which was nice."

"We moved into Summerfield, and we liked it. The staff is very helpful and efficient, and the people were very friendly. They have activities, they have it well planned, and they have Bingo and movies."

"We visited Solista Orem by Cogir. It was well organized. It has three floors. We looked at rooms on the first and third floors. The lady who took us on a tour was very good. She was very friendly and explained that they're going through a transition. Apparently, a new management has come in over the last couple of years, and they're making some modifications to the facilities. We like the rooms. They are very well laid out and large. We looked at studios, and they were large for a studio room. They seem to have a lot of amenities that we like. The original lady who was going to take us on the tour was out of town and won't be back for another week. However, the manager who took us was very good. We were introduced to several staff members. We didn't interact with them very much, but they were very good. It seemed very well kept. They had outdoor areas for the residents to gather, so that was very nice. They had a nice entertainment area. The dining area was very well laid out, too."

"We have moved into Summit Vista. It's fine. We love it here. Our experience with it was very good. They met our expectations and were very, very well done. Our physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being have increased. We love the neighbors, and we love the activities. They have about 30 activities a week and we're able to meet new people and learn from them. This fits into our needs quite well. They give us an allowance of $520 per person a month for the food. They have three restaurants and one marketplace, which is a store, but they offer plates of salad and desserts and complete meals, so we are well taken care of. The meals are not expensive, and we eat out when we want to. They roll over $200 per person if you do not use your allowance and you can roll that so that you can invite your family during Thanksgiving or other holidays or birthdays. Their food is excellent. The apartments are nice. We have a two-bedroom-two-bath. The kitchen has all new appliances. After you reserve the apartment that you want, they have a person that comes out to your home, that measures your furniture and helps you know how much furniture you can put into your apartment, which is very nice. We put in about 25% more furniture than we thought. The staff is excellent."

"Silvercrest was wonderful. The lease agent called me back several times. There were all kinds of amenities. The one-bedroom apartment was large enough and beautiful. They all had a patio and a balcony. The dining room was elegant, and the kitchen was gorgeous. "

"Bristol Village Apartments is great. I love it. They have all the amenities, but they don't serve food because it's independent. I make my own food. It's a wonderful place to live. The residents are very friendly. There are lots of things to do. There's a pool and hot tub, a workout room, and a library. Prescriptions are delivered here, and they pick up your trash for you outside your door. The staff is very nice."
