I liked the people at the Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. I know several of them, and a lot of them are BYU professors. I know that community and they seemed very happy about the place. They liked it a lot. I thought the rooms were small, they were smaller than the ones I visited here in Washington, and the bathrooms were in an awkward place. One of them wasn't connected to the bedroom, and the other one, you had to go through a storage area, and I thought that the layout wasn't as efficient as I would like. They had a lot of activities. I thought that was very good. They were going to have a rook contest that night, they had the bus to take them to different places, they had a reading group and bingo. I thought the menu looked great, they had two different choices of entrees, and then they had other special things you could have every night if you wanted. It was clean and it smelled good, I think the maintenance was fine.

I went to look at Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. They didn't show any of the rooms. They said every one of their rooms was occupied. They have a salon and a dining area. But you have your own kitchen. The facility was nice, new, and clean.

I went to Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. That place was very, very nice. The facility itself was very nice. They have a new part where the rooms were brand new, and those were very, very nice. But the main part, the rooms are a little older, and, they're still nice, but they're not over the top by any means. The facility has a lot to offer, but its price is expensive. The staff was wonderful. They have different apartments or rooms. They have studios. They have one-bedrooms. I think they even have two bedrooms. They have a room to bring your family in and have a birthday party. They have a library. They have many entertaining spaces. They have a movie theater.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living seemed very social. There's a lot of activities. It was a nice facility. It's very clean and just comfortable. It seemed very homey. I was impressed. I didn't interact with too many people from the staff, but it seemed like there were a lot of staff, and they were all very involved in their activities. That was impressive, too, that there were so many people there, and seemed like a very vibrant and active community in general. The staff who gave the tour was great, too.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living is a big operation. It's the most expensive, but possibly the best. Best food. Best facilities. They have two elevators, but those seem adequate to me. They offer trips to doctors and entertainment. The dining area is the right size for what they're doing. The personnel were very nice. It's paneled in dark wood, and so it has an oppressive feeling to my senses. It is a three-story serviced by two elevators. They claimed they had a chef who prepared meals, and they're able to put on a big spread for holiday kinds of things. The residents seemed to be enjoying their situation.

My mother has moved into Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. I like the fact they have food and medical staff on board. I like the facilities. They have transportation. They offer a lot of benefits that my mother can't get on her own. I also like the fact that she has friends. It's a very nice facility. They have activities for the seniors to do. They have bingo. They have art rooms and movies. They put projects together. They're just very amazing. I have tried their food. Sometimes they just don't have enough, but they are working on that. My mother's room is very, very small right now for the amount of money that we're paying. She just needs to get up and do activities and go eat three times a day. But her room is nice for a little studio. She has a walk-in/walk-out shower, so I don't have to worry about her falling in the tub. She has an alert system on her 24/7. They all know her. They call her by her first name. They all remember her. They work with her very well that way.

I went to the Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. It was like a five-star hotel, very beautiful, very elegant. And it was also very clean and immaculate. People that were walking around seemed very pleasant and happy. And they were the ones that had no rooms, it was full. Mom had a couple of friends who were there already, so she was looking forward to being with some of her friends. But they had no space except in memory care, which was a good deal more expensive, and she didn't need memory care. So that's why we couldn't get in. But it seemed very, very nice. The rooms are beautiful. They are lovely. They have great light and are very spacious. The appliances are all there, the fridge, the microwaves, that kind of stuff. They did a very nice job, they were cordial and explained everything to me.

The Courtyard at Jamestown was a really nice place. It was a beautiful building and a beautiful setting. The room was very nice. I liked that the room had a little countertop kitchen type counter and sink in it that none of the other rooms that I toured had. The staff member who toured us did a good job. She seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. The dining area was much smaller than where my father is at, but it was a nice little area. It was just part of their main gathering area, and it was nice. I had seriously considered them as an option.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living is marvelous. It is very friendly and very homey. Their amenities are top quality. The people there are laughing and happy, and it has a feeling of warmth, liveliness, and friendship. They have laundry and activities. It's very elegant. It's well organized. The tours that they take on their buses sound wonderful. They seem like they want to keep the person alive and active, and that's why a person would want to go to assisted living.

My loved was able to physically walk, unassisted into Jamestown memory care. After 20 days in Jamestown they could not walk, had 18 documented falls, and was medically confined to a wheel chair. After transferring to a new facility there are walking again after 10 days, and has had zero falls. Needless to say I was not happy with the care provided and would not recommend this facility to anyone,.

I visited Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. It was a very nice facility. It was well maintained, and they seemed to be well staffed. It was probably overall the nicest community that I have visited. The layout of the facility was very spacious, well-maintained, very clean, very well designed, and decorated. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very helpful. They had an exercise room, a hair salon, a library, a gym, meeting rooms, and a movie room. They had a nice dining area, and they had an area for private dining.

I toured Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. They have independent living and assisted living. They were the biggest of all the units. They're sort of like the Cadillac design of the other places. They have a bigger gym, a bigger theater, a putting green, and a fishing pond where you can fish. Residents can fish, and it's catch and release. They just have things to make it more comfortable for you. They have studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms, and a couple of varieties of each of those. One nice thing is that they have trails behind them. They're close to a lot of different kinds of shopping. When it comes down to assisted living, there are a couple of better things than the others. They have memory care there also. There are three meals a day. They have better choices of activities like taking the residents to different places to shop. One of the assistant managers gave me the tour and she conducted it very well. They had a couple of different libraries, they had like an activity room with the TV, and they had a scrabble board up on the wall. I almost had a feeling that was it, yet in one way it just wasn't for me. For my particular needs, it wasn't the most convenient even though I have liked it. I have an electric bike and I could go to Provo Canyon very easily from there. It has the best accessibility to the trails like Provo Canyon Trail, and it's easy to go anywhere from there.

I liked the Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living more than any other place I went to. I enjoyed that Marcy who was there was super friendly and took me around. We visited the food area, the games area, the nurse, we visited about every facility that was in there. Turns out that I knew a couple of people that were there as well, and they took me and showed me two-bedroom apartments as well as one, so I got a very good idea of what it was like, and thought the appointments and the facility were just super and organized well with the hallways, with two Y's at either end. She was very good at answering all of my questions and queries. I was doing it for a neighbor I've got.

I loved Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. Mom would have a studio there. She would have meals and stuff, but she's capable of a lot. She doesn't need a lot of physical help. They would take her to her doctors' appointments. The staff was amazing. They spent so much time with me. They're so good. I want her here. I saw a lot of staff there as I was walking around. She would love it there. It's not too huge, and it's lovely. I hope we can get her there when it's time. I did not taste the food, but I saw the menus and it smelled good. The dining room was lovely. They have access to meals, but if they don't like the menu meals, there are other things that they cook. They don't all come to the dining room at the same time. There are meals that they can get at any time and there is dining time. There's a cereal bar all the time. It fits the needs religiously for us and the kindness. It's just a perfect fit. I went into about five rooms and walked around the whole place. It was lovely, clean, and very homey. People were sitting around talking and playing puzzles. They were kind to the people. The lady I talked to was lovely. I'm not an easy pushover. In every way, I felt really good about it. The rooms were nice and good sized. The studio had a fridge, a microwave, and a kitchen area, and the bathroom had lots of bars around to help them and they were good sized. There were closets. The one she took me into had beautiful mountain ranges, but they're covered with snow right now. I was like, "I'm moving in today." They had a big room that they had set up to do their exercises in the chairs. That's the room where they had their service meetings or parties. They even have folk dancers come and perform for them. Outside, they have a firepit where you go out and get warm. In the summer, they roast marshmallows and stuff like that. They had a putting green out there. It's a lovely place. I will tell my children I would live there. I wouldn't be sad about it at all. They have a place to do hair and nails. It's not extremely large, but it is amazing. It was homey. They had all kinds of things. They had a room they could do quilts and crafts. They take them out a lot on bus trips and to the mall if they want to go. The lady talked to me a lot, and she was very kind and personable. She was darling. The staff was nice. The World War II Candy Bomber is there at the place. He's famous in that genre of people. It's a delightful place. I loved the place and I love that my mom's going to be there. The dining room was really lovely. A few people were sitting there and they were chatting with each other and they were smiling. Everyone was happy. A few were sitting there that weren't very coherent, but they were pleasant. The food option looked great and it smelled lovely. There was zero smell offensive. There was no smell of urine. It smelled lovely, and it was very clean. There's not an ounce of me that would feel sad about her being there. They are just doing a color change. They're putting blues and stuff and it's really pretty. They were just redoing all the chairs where they exercise. They're changing those out and they're changing out carpets.

My husband is in assisted living at Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. They have a different section called memory care, where they have more one-on-one help for him because it's hard for him to be alone. He's on a list to get into that. It is a very nice place. For my husband, it's a lot safer than he was at home because he doesn't have stairs and things like that. The staff members are very nice and very helpful to him. I like how they're taking precautions with COVID. You have to wear a mask in there, and you have to sign in. They're taking that very seriously. I don't think they're letting people eat there. I bring my own food when I go down there because of COVID. But their food is good. My husband loves their food. They do have church services there on Sundays. It is right there in the building. That's very helpful because you don't have to go anywhere. They always have something going on, and the people can get involved if they want. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. They bring my husband's medication to him. He has a buzzer to push if he needs help, and they come right there. Right across from his room, there is a washer and dryer. I do his laundry when I'm there. If he has problems, they help him.

I toured the Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living a couple of years ago. There was a woman that helped us through, fed us lunch, and showed us where they would be able to keep my mother. They were very accommodating and it was one of the nicest places I've ever seen. It's really beautiful, nicely decorated, and very well kept. We had lunch with everybody and I remember being impressed that it was just high-quality food.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living seemed clean and well organized. We liked the idea that they had a unit that was in construction today, and so it would be brand new in the fall. The new wing seemed to be quite far from the dining area, but then it would be compensated by having a nice, new living area. So, that didn't bother us at all. They were also friendly and seemed to be well engaged with the residents.

We toured Courtyard at Jamestown for my friend, and that one was fabulous, that was our favorite one. We met with the gal that took us around and she was really good. We saw studios, and one-bedrooms, they were all really beautiful. They actually had some new ones, they had a new building, or a new place that she showed us, and that was a one-bedroom; they were all really lovely. They had a library, they had a hair salon, and they had two or three places to meet. They had an activity room where they did crafts and activities. They had a little store area that you could go buy just little incidentals, and they had a beautiful dining room. It was beautifully situated in beautiful trees. The whole outside of it was gorgeous, and they had fountains. They were doing some renovations, but it was all just beautiful.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted & Senior Living was excellent. The residents seemed to be very, very happy. I think I would prefer that one. It's a very fine place. The only thing about the place that really put me back was when you walked in the front door. It looked exactly like a nursing home; but when I saw the individual rooms and spaces, I could definitely live there and be happy even though it's a little bit pricey for me. They loved everybody there. They showed me their rooms and their small library. I was really impressed with the restaurant type service in their dining. All the residents that we passed by gave high marks to it. One of the residents commented, "You won't starve in this place." That was nice of her to say. They have different choices for meals too. Shannon was fantastic. I was surprised at the smallness of the first couple of rooms that we saw. Shannon explained that it's up to your mindset; it's not just where you live. You live in the whole complex, so that made it easier. The rooms go up in different sizes. They certainly keep you busy based on their list of activities as well. It sounds like a fantastic place to live. Everybody seems friendly. You could really look forward to each night of the week or each day of the week.

I went to Courtyard at Jamestown and I had the best overall experience. It was definitely cleaner than the other place. Marcy, who showed me around, was excellent, very concerned with our needs, and went over everything. Everything was really well done. It was very homey, and they had fireplaces. I really enjoyed it. They had a beauty salon, a recreation room, and an activities room. Everything's separate. They had a room where you could sit and have a family meal. I was very impressed. I didn't really eat there, but I could see that the residents were eating. I've asked them and they said they like the food. It's fairly decent. Even with all the construction going on, it's very well maintained.

We will be moving my mother-in-law into Courtyard at Jamestown. We toured it in person. It was amazing, top notch, and built with top-quality materials. It is well established. It has eight levels of assisted living care, and it has memory care. I was just really impressed. Other places in the area maybe only went to level five or six for care. Everybody was super friendly and super nice, and they fed us lunch to let us sample the food. The chef came out and spoke to us about his experiences there and how much he cares for the menu, and we were super impressed. We visited other places, and it's probably the biggest value for your money. They're very competitive in their prices, and I feel like their rooms are a lot nicer. There's a lot more variety in that they have forty-two different floor plans for their rooms, from studio to two-bedroom. They don't charge anything for pets. A lot of places charge $1000 up front for pets or $50 a month for pets, but they just have it built into their price structure. The grounds are extensive and beautiful. They have a duck pond, beautiful gardens, and a lot more outdoor space that people can enjoy. There are a lot of newer places that have a very modern décor, and with a lot of elderly people, modern is not a comfortable décor style. I think they did a good job in how they decorate Courtyard at Jamestown. I love it. The saleslady was so warm and friendly that I think I found a good friend. I didn't see anything that led me to be concerned about cleanliness at all. The food is like going on a cruise ship.

I visited the Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living in person. It has everything that it should have. It's a really good facility. The staff was friendly; they were all good and helpful. The layout is unique, and it helps accommodate individual needs, which is very awesome. It's really like choosing your own little house, almost, and there are a lot of good options. They have a library, they have tables set up for puzzles, and you could also bring puzzles to your room. They have specialized activities every day, like people talking about their careers. They have a lot going on.

We chose Courtyard at Jamestown. We're gonna move-in end of this week, or early next week. It was great. Our room is completely being refurbished. It's a small 2-bedroom apartment and the dining room has just all been redone. They're just finishing it up. So it's in very good shape. They're excellent, and very responsive. While we were visiting there, they were in the process of refinishing the dining room, the kitchen, and all of that.

My father-in-law was a resident at Jamestown. He moved here from North Carolina with a little hesitation but quickly loved being here because of the warmth and caring of the staff. He was always telling us how wonderful and kind everyone was. How they called him by name each time the spoke to him. He enjoyed every activity and always participated in them and encouraged others to go. At the age of 98 he was always so grateful for the wonderful food he was served. He loved to cook when he was younger and loves good food. He loved his room and having his paintings on display. It was indeed home to him. We as his family were delighted with his weekly reports that were always positive. We never worried because we have seen the care that the staff gives. We loved their buffets, they were a great time for many of us to gather with him as our host. I would highly recommend this beautiful facility to anyone.

Everyone the girl at Courtyard at Jamestown introduced me to was sweet. It was very pretty and the rooms were really nice. They're established, and it was my choice. It's where I would have had my mom and stepdad go, but my mom was afraid that it was too fancy and didn't have the clothes to go to the dining area which was silly. They had doctors there every week, and nurses there every day. The rooms were awesome, and I really liked that they had a pond that the seniors can actually fish out of. They had nice, safe walkways around the building.

I love Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. I'd move there in a minute, but my mother was not happy about about having to move. The food is fantastic. We had stuffed filet of sole and poached salmon. The dining area is elegant with China, white linens, and tablecloths. It's beautifully done. Everyone's so cheerful and kind. This place is fabulous. They have outdoor walking areas, you can have your own garden, and they have a duck pond. The place itself is gorgeous. They're so happy to help you. They have wonderful programs and trips all the time. The chef is phenomenal. He's well known in the area.

Courtyard at Jamestown was pretty expensive, a lot more formal, and seemed a little more upscale than what we were looking for. It felt a little stuffy for my parents since my dad is a hillbilly and my mom a country girl. They were really amazing and the staff member who showed us around was really friendly and nice. The place was beautiful.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living would've been my first choice, but they didn't have any two rooms available and they said they don't very often. The one lady says that she has been there two years and they had their first opening recently and it was filled the same day. The lady that's been there 16 years basically said they don't turnover very fast. I really like them a lot and I like the fact that they have independent living. In fact, we're going to probably go put our name on the waiting list because eventually my father will need more of the assisted living. It was very homey and very friendly. The rooms were nice. The thing I really liked about them was they had a lot of outdoor space that you could walk around in and still be still right there at Courtyard. It had a lot of really nice things, like the two ponds. If there was something I didn't like about it, it would have been that it was more of a higher class place. It was very nice and I really liked it, but there are people that would not feel comfortable there because they would feel that they would be in the wrong place. It's a little bit too dressy and classy. It has more of a Victorian feel to it.

I took her to Courtyard at Jamestown, and this was her favorite. If she does decide to go into a home, that would be her home of choice at this point. The reason we went there is because it is one that has the possibility of a memory center, and that is why we are considering it was the best choice for her. We had my father-in-law there, and it worked out very well. They were very kind and very understanding of those who are a little difficult, and Marilyn has that sort of personality that you get a little frustrated occasionally. They were wonderful. We talked to Shawna on the staff, and she seemed to just be in-tune with Marilyn’s needs. She doesn’t like somebody who is overbearing at all, and Shawna figured that out in a hurry and she got along with her really well. They had 39 different setups in their rooms, 39 different floor plans, so it was really quite amazing. And the rooms were very large and spacious -- especially the bathroom which was really wonderful because they have an actual credenza in there. I didn’t see that in the other places, ans that is a huge thing. The storage spaces were very ample. They were holding a session right then for how to use the adult diapers, and she was not impressed with that because she is not ready for that, but you have different age ranges, and they were asking how to manage them, so it was a good session.

My loved on, Terry, is at Courtyard at Jamestown. They have been helpful because he is 66 years old and very able-bodied but has memory issues. They have actually given him a job in the kitchen and made him feel useful. They have been very communicative. We're not there on a daily basis, but when we visit, we are very pleased with this place. He has a studio with a microwave, a sink and a refrigerator, a couple of closets, his own bathroom with a walk-in shower, and room for a bed and dresser, so it is perfect for him right now. The location has easy access to the main street. I would recommend this community. They were very helpful.

Courtyard at Jamestown has been wonderful. It is beautiful, like living on a cruise ship. They are very attentive and kind of high-end, but the price was very comparable. It goes from assisted living to skilled nursing, so Mom never has to move from there. They have done a wonderful job. They have something going on all the time and are so busy. They do humanitarian stuff once a week, play Bingo, and have church services. They can go to the store and shop. They take them around the community to different events, like concerts. The food is great.

Courtyard at Jamestown was a nice facility, but most of the rooms were studios, and it was not big enough for king size beds and two wheelchairs. The price was higher. It was more fancy. It catered more to single people. The showers were not big enough.

Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living was beautiful, and we were really impressed with that, but you know what, it was a bigger place. It was gorgeous and very well appointed too. It was a traditional upscale type. It had a lot of amenities that were available. I was impressed with the dining facility and the menu. However, the thing was, as far as the match went, I did not think they were very good a match to my parents. It would have been for me; if I ever needed a place, I would go there. They had really good menus, and the appointments were gorgeous. They had a library, and they had a lot of things available for the people. They had an aviary where they could watch birds, and that’s really cool.

A month and a half ago, we put my parent at Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living. It was, by far, the nicest we visited. The rooms were clean, very modern, and up-to-date, and everything smelled good. There wasn’t anything about it we didn’t like. It’s not 5-star restaurant food, but it’s good, healthy, appetizing food. They have all sorts of rooms. They have a genealogy room, a salon, and a library with books and puzzles. They have walking areas, several gathering rooms, and several sitting areas with fish tanks and a bird cage.

Courtyard at Jamestown was wonderful and better than what we thought it would be. The dining area was beautiful and gorgeous. The food tasted like it was made by a 5-star hotel chef. The whole atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. My husband and I have lost our memories but we're still be up and around, and this felt so much like a rest home or senior suite.

I visited Courtyard at Jamestown. It was very nice, but too expensive. It was new and modern. So, everything was newer and more modern and very clean looking. They had plenty of room. The dining room was very nice.

Courtyard at Jamestown was a very nice and beautiful facility. A little bit expensive for my budget. Everything looks fine, and the rooms looked good, but I didn’t stay there. It looked good, but it was more expensive than the other places I visited.

I was extremely impressed with Courtyard at Jamestown and how nice the place was. The people were very helpful. It seemed like they had a good amount of staff and a lot of things for the people to do. It was one of the nicer places that we visited. The grounds were very nice and very well kept. The layout seemed good. They had the eating area and the entertainment area in the center of all the wings in the facility. The facility is very nice and very welcoming when you walk in. It was more upscale than a lot of the other places we've visited.

Courtyard at Jamestown is a wonderful, great place. The staff is very caring, very efficient, and very nice. The rooms are also very nice. For the assisted living, they have a beautiful restaurant. There’s a gym, an aquarium, an aviary, beautiful common living areas, and a lot of great activities. This is where my dad’s living right now.

We visited Jamestown (Courtyard at Jamestown). It was referred by my niece who did an internship there in Provo. Jamestown was very good, but it was a little higher-priced, so that's why we didn't go with them. We didn't try the food, but they did invite us to lunch. My dad is going to go up there and have lunch with them just to compare it, but the price is higher. They did have bus trips, and they would take them any place they want to go. They have buses that go to the doctors and sometimes to lunch or to shows. They did a lot of different things.

We went at Courtyard at Jamestown, but I was not impressed with that. I just got the feeling that the people were not as caring as I got to feel with the people down at the other facility, and the apartments were very small.

This is an excellent facility, very beautiful. It's reminiscent of some colonial mansion or something. There are many great aspects of this facility. One of them is the activities. There is always something for the residents to do. And those activities aren't just limited to the occasional game of bingo and shopping trip. There are manicures and parties and picnics and scenic drives. Many of the residents I've spoken with love the drives. They often drive up to the canyon. It's especially beautiful in the spring and fall, with the blossoming trees and the changing of the leaves, turning the entire mountain orange and red. The residents love this little nature exploration so that they can feel that they're still part of the outside world.
