My parents moved to the independent living community of Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. Their overall experience has been fairly good. There's been really no complaints about the community, although it's kind of restrictive and a little different from your average independent living. They serve three meals a day and let my parents have a degree of choice. They seemed to be happy when I talked to them. Their room is huge for a 1-bedroom apartment. They got the premium bedroom apartment, so I'm grateful for that. They have all the rooms they can use, and it's fully furnished. The maintenance is timely, so if they need something, they're getting it. There have been no problems or issues that I'm aware of. The dining area is very spacious and very homey. They have a fireplace and places to sit. The food is pretty good. I've eaten there a couple of times, and they give you some choices. If you don't want what's being served, you can have a hamburger or something. My parents participate in movie nights, but that's pretty much it right now. I'm trying to get them out, and they are also getting social slowly with people during dinner time. They sit at a table with new people, get to know them, and make friends. They've made some friendships that last, so I like that.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy has a couple of things that I didn't like about it. The kitchen is really small. It only has a sink and a fridge. However, the staff who gave the tour was very personable, helpful, cheerful, and caring. The food was good, but there wasn't a great variety. I checked a one-bedroom apartment. The common area was nice. Their room was smaller than I would like, but I could still make this work.

I toured Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. The community was very nice. We had lunch there last week. The lunch was very good. We got to pick off the menu and we got what we wanted. However, I found the lady who showed us around very rude. The areas were very nice. They had a very nice community place. I talked to the lady who does all the crafts and puts on different things for people to do, and she was very sweet. I saw the craft room and the community room. They had a nice library. The rooms were nice. It was very clean. Their dining area was nice and open. They also had a dining area outside if you want to just sit outside.

I toured Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. The staff was very friendly. The common areas were nicely decorated and clean. It seemed like a very uplifting place. The rooms we looked at were nice. I loved that they all had an outdoor exit, either a balcony or a door right out to a grassy area. My mom has a little dog, so we were looking at a unit that had access right out to the grass where she could take him for a walk. It was a nice area.

I did a tour of Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. They were very welcoming, and they were waiting for us when we got there. They walked us through all the pricing first, what it all entailed, and what was covered. They also showed us five different apartments, the dining room area, the activity centers, the library, the chapel, the exercise room, the dining room, and where they do garden and stuff like that, as well as where the laundry room was. The rooms were really good. It was a very good tour, and they were very informative. The gentleman was very nice and accommodating, his name's Tony. The prices were a little high. We were concerned about the month-to-month.

We went to look at Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. The grounds are very nice. The facility seemed very nice and well-kept. The concept of a small kitchen and getting fed is a good thing. They have a good chef there, so they understand that the food needs to be good. The place is clean all over. I think it would be a good place. Everyone is saying this is a good place for me in my old age. We are very interested. I was impressed with the library, which had big chairs. They have a few exercise machines that look good. There's a community exercise place. A senior center, I believe, is fairly close. They talked about a bus for the residents there. I met the staff, the people at the desk, the cleaning person, and the chef. They were all very nice. They all seem to understand what their function is.

We toured Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. The tour was good, but it wasn't as good as the place we chose. It had just been remodeled, so it looked very good. We didn't meet very many staff members, but they seemed okay. It was in a good location, but it wasn't quite as appealing as the place we chose.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy was a really nice place. Their services are really good, but it is on a busy street. The people seemed to be very nice and happy. They have a walking trail, which is really important to me. The staff was very friendly and caring. They offer a lot of activities. I saw some exercise classes and some craft classes.

We toured Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. We saw three rooms that were available towards the dining room, and everything was top-notch. The people who took us around were very cordial and helpful. It was a good experience. They had a library and an activity room. They had Sunday church services available. They were playing games while we were there.

We've visited Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. It was very nice, but they didn't have a full kitchen, but they had a partial kitchen. They had entertainment while we were there, and the residents were very nice. We didn't have a meal there, but we got a treat, and my mother-in-law got a honey butter treat for coming in. The facility was very nice, big, comfortable, and cushy. We saw some live entertainment while we were there. The outdoor space was nice. They had a nice library, an area to play pool and puzzles, and giant dining rooms. Everything was very open and not closed in by walls. But they did not have a full kitchen, so we did not choose that place.

We visited Solstice Senior Living at Sandy and we liked the customer service, the large bedrooms, and the fact that they're currently going to remodel the place in a year. We also think that the location is great and that the price was very, very much reasonable. They had a very large cafeteria, an exercise room, and a beauty parlor that was open twice a week. I would recommend that place.

I liked that Solstice Senior Living at Sandy had screened doors out to their patios, everyone was friendly, and it was very clean. The staff that did the tour was pleasant. The rooms are being remodeled, but they look beautiful, very roomy, and accommodating. They were playing bean bag softball and bingo while we were there, but they also have other things like music, billiards, and a little library for them to go to. One thing I didn't appreciate about the place was that my mom would still have to pay for her own internet and phone because they only have it in a centralized location for the community to use. Also, we're looking for something of a better dining experience, more freedom for meals. Like mom being able go down and get whatever she wanted at any time and not be restricted.

I toured Solstice Senior Living at Sandy and I liked it. I thought it was friendly and attractive, and felt homey. The staff who gave the tour did a great job. did a great job. The rooms were clean, they were attractive, and they had many options. They were also modern, they had exterior doors, and they had patios and balconies. Their activities looked great, they looked fun. Their dining area was attractive but I did not try the food.

I went to look at Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. The people seemed nice. I was there in the afternoon, so it took a long time for someone to talk to me. The staff I met wasn't the actual salesperson. He was the director, and he was very nice. We didn't go into a lot of details, so I don't know what they provide. I saw a rec room, a dining room, and a sitting area. The facility seemed very clean. The staff didn't even take me into any of the rooms. It's near restaurants, malls, and stores. It's pretty busy around there.

The representative that took us around Solstice Senior Living at Sandy was wonderful. She was just really nice. It was fine that it was older, but it was really rundown on the outside. Every window and all the patios had bugs and cobwebs. We were just not impressed with it at all, but the staff was very nice and very helpful. They were excellent. It just needed to be cleaned up and refreshed.

I visited Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. It has a nice apartment, and it was a nice place. We had a nice tour, and we saw several apartments. Mostly they were one-bedroom apartments, but I want two bedrooms. The dining room looked nice, too. You could walk around the area, that was nice. It was very attractive, it was on 106 South, and you couldn't hear any of the traffic. I believe the meals were included in that. We were downstairs and there was a group entertainment. It was a very pleasant experience.

I liked the people at Solstice Senior Living at Sandy because they were very nice. The only thing I would say is that it was a little bit outdated, it's a little old. The lady who I talked to and who toured me was great. Her name is Brittany, I believe, and she was awesome. They had pretty much the same that everyone had. They had a salon, a game room, and a library. It was very nice and they had pretty much everything you would need. I liked the location too because it's almost like a neighborhood, it's right by the mountains, and Sandy is a good area.

I went to Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. It was nice. The apartments were nice. Everything seemed very nice there. I just didn't want to live that far south. Maintenance was good; it seemed to be fine. The person who gave me the tour was very nice. She was very personable and very accommodating as far as answering questions. The dining area was nice. The outdoor spaces seemed OK. They were very pleasantly clean.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy is an independent living, but I feel like the lack of a kitchen is a big problem for people that still want to cook for themselves. That was a big takeaway for us. The grounds are beautiful, gorgeous, very spacious, lots of places to walk around outside, walking paths. People had their own space to decorate and put flowers out, and the patios were beautiful. They have a beauty salon and they have the main dining room as everyone else does. I think one of their big amenities is that their patios walk out to the main exit so you can exit from your own place and you don't have to go through the main area of the building if you don't want to. So I think that would be the big takeaway from there. The staff was great, the dining area was open and nice.

I moved into Solstice Senior Living at Sandy. They offered me 2 months free rent, they paid $500 to move me, and they waived my deposit. I love my room. I really like it. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful. They have activities 7 times a day, but that's not something I'm interested in right now. I'm unpacking, and getting everything ready so I can live in the apartment. They do have some gym equipment, they have a home-health agency within, and they have nurses and CNAs, and physical therapists who work with the residents. They have a library, they have beautiful paintings on the walls, and hopefully after this COVID, they're gonna be updating the facility on the inside. The food is better than other places, it's very diverse, flavorful, and I think they have a chef preparing it, it's really good. The rooms are spaced far enough apart that they're not on top of each other, very quiet, I cannot hear my neighbor, and he can't hear me.

I understand theres alot of concern going on with the world right now but that does NOT give anyone the right to emotional abuse / neglect our elders. I am very upset by the way my family has been treated while living here. They arent getting the meals that are included in the rent, their apt isn't getting cleaned, they're wheelchair bound they cant clean themselves, because of covid 19 i cant go in and do it; then the executive director had the nerve to yell at them like they are trash! I am so livid. You should not be in the position you are if you cant treat your residents with dignity and respect. Their turn over rate with staff is ridiculous. It's just not well handled with how much they charge. Like I said I know theres alot going on in the world right now but that doesnt mean you give up on those living unaffected.

I'm living at Solstice Senior Living for over a month now, and it's good. It's a nice place to live, they're very accommodating to family get togethers, they have a lot of things going on, but I have not participated yet. They offer activities daily, they have field trips, like they went to a mine one day, and they go to Walmart, the Dollar store, or the bank. The staff is great. The room is fantastic, they clean it once a week, they do a very good job, diligent, and they care. However, there's not enough parking for the people in the west side of the building. The dining area is good, the chef has a very broad menu, but the spices are tone down for seniors. It's a little bit fancy for my taste.

Solstice Senior Living was very nice, and the person who showed us around was very welcoming. They even had a welcome sign for my dad and I. The area where they eat is bright and open, it felt really good, and it didnt feel stuck up and dark. The hallway seemed brighter, the pictures hanging on the halls were nice, the apartments were nice, and it was cleaner than other places. They have really nice patios and balconies. They have a library, which is really good, and they have a van that will take people shopping a couple of times a week. The grounds were nice and residents have access to them. The rooms are adequate in size, but theres not a full kitchen, only a microwave, a countertop, a little sink, and a refrigerator. Youre almost forced to eat downstairs in the dining area. The apartments were fine, they all have balconies, they were bright, and they all felt roomy

My mother moved into Solstice Senior Living at Sandy, and it was her choice. It's bigger, they have a manager suite, but they don't have kitchens, and it's not as modern. She plays Bingo, and the residents are friendlier. There were things I requested to be done that were not done before I came.
