"I toured Crescent Senior Living. They're helpful and informative. Everything looked good. It wasn't all eyewash like some of the others I looked at. It looked like they were more into the patients than in the way the place looked. The facility itself is great. It wasn't overdone. They were just a very comfortable feeling when you walked in there. The rooms were nice. They were nice sized. I'm impressed. Everything was so nice and airy, and the outside too, if they wanted to sit outside. There were so many opportunities for them to be outside and participate. They had a little garden and it was just homey. The caregiver said she's done it for almost 40 years. It's been her whole life and she just loves her patients. She was just so bubbly and seemed so caring. You could tell it was her calling."

"This is a small facility, sixteen resident capacity, and the facility itself is not overly beautiful or anything, but this facility has a lot of heart. I've rarely seen a facility that puts as much emphasis on family then this one does. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate family visits, even if they aren't at the best times. They also invite family to all the parties and get togethers and encourage family participation. I've never visited this facility without seeing at least two or three different residents with visitors at any given time, and they're always talking and laughing and generally just having a good time. I also always see children there visiting their grandparents or great grandparents. They literally just light the place up. "

"My husband moved to Valencia at Draper. They're taking care of him and giving him the medication when he needs it and all that kind of stuff. It's just worked out. They serve three meals a day. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a little courtyard in the memory care unit. It's small, but it's sufficient."

"Making this step with our beloved Mother has been quite the emotional roller coaster. Cottonwood Creek has been amazing from the very beginning. Jaime as a first indepth contact has been so incredibly helpful. She walked my sister and I through the whole process, then hand held my Mother helping guide her to agree. Coming from a sales back ground I understand her position. After moving Mother in I assumed that was it, she did her job. Nope, day after day she is there with the same caring help. MBK is lucky to have Jaime! Her kindness is plentiful and genuine. Her ever ready smile is infectious. I just need to say every single encounter with employees at Cottonwood Creek in every single department has been excellent. Everyone has such a sweet caring attitude.Everyone is treated so well and addressed by name. Other assisted living places pale by comparison. You have such a great team it makes the whole atmosphere there uplifting. People are living, not merely existing. The food is excellent and well planned. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everyone's job well done. Looking forward to my Mother living there for many years! "

"This facility is a mansion, huge and airy and absolutely gorgeous, with sunrooms and gardens, and even a wrap-around porch, which is the hugest draw for my friend. She loves nothing more than sitting on the porch in a rocking chair and just sort of watching as the world goes by. She's always wanted a huge porch and now she has that opportunity now and she can enjoy it. And does, often. She even moves around the porch as the day progresses, so she can enjoy other areas of the facility, like the beautiful gardens. People watching is one of her favorite activities and though the area is quiet, there's still plenty of opportunities for her to observe them as they go by, and even talk to them sometimes whenever she can. When the weather doesn't permit her to be outside, she often enjoys relaxing in the sunrooms and watching it rain or even snow. "

"The Wellington is a wonderful place. My mother has been there for a very long time. She gets great care, and the staff love her and treat her exceptionally well. The new nurse there Lisa, goes above and beyond. She makes the place run like clockwork, and the staff seem to really like her. She treats my mom like family. We have had a lot of disappointments with Cathy the Director of Nursing there. She makes a lot of promises she doesn't keep, and she makes my family uncomfortable, but with the addition of the new nurse, we do not have to deal with her now. We feel we get quality care for the price we pay. The food is wonderful, and the new manager is very kind and helpful "

"I went to Spring Gardens Draper. It was good. It was a nice community. The staff member who gave the tour were very nice and very knowledgeable of the place. The rooms were nice. I think it's a newer building and I think they're taking good care of it. The dining area was a good area for where they had to eat. It was nice."

"My visit in Sunrise at Holladay was nice. The staff was nice. I didn't see the memory care, but I felt like the rooms were pretty small. They showed us a studio and a one-bedroom. "

"I've been living at Legacy Village of Sugar House for a couple of years now. It's very expensive; that's why I'm looking for something a little cheaper. Everything is good. It's 10 stories high, and the people are doing a very good job. Everything is clean and works on time. The price is about twice as much as other communities. The amenities are very good."

"Legacy House of Bountiful was very nice, but I think they charge a fee if the resident can't go to the meals and bring it to their room instead. Other than that, the rooms were very, very well kept and very nice. They had a lot of activities on their calendar. The staff was very helpful and they told me about everything on the tour."
