His room has French doors that open to a beautiful garden walkway where he can watch horses galloping just beyond. Music plays throughout the large facility creating a quiet, plesent atmosphere. There are only 12-18 residents, giving grieving families room for privacy. I highly recommend CareSource. "

"Mother used Sunrise for a couple of years. They never accommodated when my mother needed to make changes, adjustments, or had other appointments. They didn't visit Mother and they didn't control her. They discontinued because they said Medicare was not going to cover and the family needed to cover. The caregiver was not good. She took a precious thing that one of my nieces gave to Mother and I was disappointed. It was not about the value. It was the sentimental value. We complained and the agency didn't do anything. "Mother has been using Independence for 6 months or so. The nurse has been very accommodating to Mother's schedule. She likes to receive visits early in the morning and every agency that I tried in the past wanted to start at 9:00am. She prefers early in the morning around 7:00am and the nurse accommodates that. In the past, she came in the afternoon. The doctor switched her insulin shots to once a day only and she was able to accommodate my mother. When Mother has other appointments, the nurse comes either earlier or later to accommodate her. When Mother had an infection, she didn't want to be in the hospital. She decided to do home infusion and she accommodated that again. She came every day, did the medication through the infusion and Mother was very pleased. She prefers her own place rather than being in a hospital or in a nursing home. If anybody asked me, I recommend Independence. They are really nice and really kind. In the other agency, my mother had four emergencies in five months because they didn't control the blood pressure, the blood sugar and the infection. My mother has recurrent urinary tract infection. With Independence, Mother never went back to the hospital. She didn't have any more emergencies. We are so happy. "
