"We have been working with Holladay Homecare of Utah. The manager is very easy to work with and very pleasant. The staff is very capable and caring. They are doing a great job. They help our mother 24/7. There are three different shifts, and they rotate different people. Usually, they have maybe two or three that come a lot, and two others that come when they need to fill in. Our mother loves these people, and they're just so good to her. They take care of her hygiene, like going to the restroom, showering her, and cleaning her up. They also sit and talk with her, cook food, and do the laundry. And they come when she rings the bell. In the middle of the night, they're there for her if she has a bad dream. They comfort her. They don't let her get hurt. They make sure that when she is up and around, they are helping that she be safe. They wash the floor, do the dishes, deal with the trash only when she's sleeping, and she's safe in bed. They're good with safety procedures. The financial person and the scheduling person are in contact with us via text and by calling us on the phone. They record everything that's going on. They have a website where their employees record what happened at the end of each shift. Things like what our mother ate and all that stuff. And so, we can go on and check that every day. We'll meet the helpers over the next couple of weeks. The person in charge of scheduling is also coming over personally and meeting us. The owner has also offered to help us file long-term care reimbursements from the long-term care insurance company. They're very helpful. They call us sometimes and ask how everything is working and if there is any problem with any of the helpers. And they're more than willing to make things work. A video has been set up at the house, and we see video recordings of how our mother is being cared for and what's going on. That gives some transparency, and so we feel really, really good about having that available. I've got to interview the scheduler and talk to her about the schedule so much that I think I know her very well. She is also one of the helpers who specifically comes at night, or when other people are unable to fulfill their position that day. She'll come over, and my mother and my sister-in-law love this lady. I think that's really, really helpful."
