"Heritage Place Independent Living was a beautiful place. The dining room was really pretty, but the one-bedroom was too small for me. The two-bedroom was beautiful, but pricey. Cleanliness and upkeep were excellent. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. It's very nice, but it was too expensive for me."

"It was phenomenal. They are the best, and it would probably be the only one that I would consider having my parents go and live in. It was a great community. The apartments were really nice and very modern. They have wood floors throughout, which was not the case as for the others that are carpeted. They also have a wonderful courtyard, an atrium, and access to an area where pets could go in and out via a pet door. It was just amazing, and it just felt like a home."

"I have a two-bedroom apartment here at Buena Vista Seniors Community, and I cook in my full kitchen. I can get help if I need it, but I do my own washing and cleaning. The maintenance is great. I'm overlooking a pond where we can go fishing. I have a pool, and I'm perfectly content. They have different activities every day, and everybody gathers in a room each day. They have two computers downstairs, a cappuccino machine and a coffee machine, and everybody always brings snacks with them. "

"The top reason why St. Francis Village appealed to me was that it's much more affordable than most of the places I had inquired about. They have a unit of apartments (one level only) and numerous cottages (duplexes). I looked at the two-bedroom cottage that had a carport in it and they've got a little patio in the back that can be fenced in, if I need to, for my dog. It's just the perfect place for me. It's located close to Benbrook Lake and there's one area where you can see the lake from the Saint Francis Village campus and I felt like there's more outdoor independence there. The staff was very nice and very friendly. It was great."

"I'm on the waiting list at Mariposa Apartment Homes At South Broadway. I like that facility. It's nice. It's pretty much what I ran into at the other facility. The problem is its vacancies. It's not that old, and it's well-maintained. I saw nothing discouraging. There's no trash or litter. However, the staff started out a little annoyed when I came in. But then after I acted annoyed back, she behaved herself."

"I'm now at Album Benbrook for a week. It's very nice. They have lots of activities. It's brand new. It's beautiful. We have three staff members: The manager, assistant manager, and activity director. They're very easy to get along with, and they're helpful. I have a one-bedroom-one-bath. I have a walk-in closet, a walk-in shower, lots of closet space and cabinet space, and stainless-steel appliances. It's wonderful. They have yoga, cooking classes, poker, all kinds of card games, and speakers. They have a fitness room and a movie theater. They have all kinds of get-togethers. They have garages, carports, and guest parking. They have a dog park and a swimming pool. It's very well-kept."

"Mariposa is a very nice place and brand new when I moved in. I have a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, a kitchen, and a dining room area. The staff is very nice. We have bingo, crafts, get togethers, birthday parties once a month, and Bible study."

"I toured Pegasus Landing of Chisholm Trail. The place is very clean. It's very personable. The people who live there seem very happy. They care about their needs, like taking them to Walmart, or if they want to go to a museum, or taking them on little ventures, and doing crafts with them, so it's a nice place."

"My mom will be moving into Aviva Fort Worth. The staff was very friendly. The apartment was well-maintained. It was secured. They offered a lot of activities. The woman who did the tour with us spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. We toured two times. She was very patient and showed us multiple things, sometimes the same thing over and over, till we could make a decision, set us all down, and helped us make decisions. They don't serve food."

"Ten yrs ago I checked Palm House and left after one minute. I heard it had changed and back. You walk in and it's bright. Staff is welcoming, friendly and answer all your questions. These are independent senior living apartments of various sizes. The apts. are newly renovated and feel like home. This does not feel or look like a nursing home. There are scooters and walkers, but people are up and active. There are lots of activities going on. Coffee together in the mornings, games, parties and places to gather inside and outside. I immediately got an application and 17 days later moved in. Residents are friendly and welcomed me. I can choose what I want to do as far as activities. Moving here has gotten me more active and feeling right at home. Come and check out Palm House. One of the best choices I've ever made!"

"I really like The Tradition - Clearfork, and I have a feeling that's where I'm going to go when I go. It's very, very nice and it's brand new, but it's very expensive. The staff is top-notch. It's a wonderful place. It has great shopping nearby, Neiman Marcus, Gucci, and Prada. You could walk there or they would take you there. They have a movie theater. It's top-notch."

"My husband lives in Ridgmar Place in Fort Worth. I like everything about it. I've been very pleased to have him there. He is in their independent living but we hire people to come in and help him with different things. He has an efficiency apartment, which is a nice size and is perfect for him. It has a full kitchen, and a walk-in shower, which was important to me so that there's no falling in the tub. I guess if closet space were a little bigger, that might be nice too, but it's okay. He has plenty of room for a queen-sized bed and a recliner. He doesn't want a kitchen table in there and would rather have his desk for his computer. I bought him a nice-sized coat rack, so he uses that to store some things. There's also a television so with all that in there, there's still plenty of space for him to walk around unencumbered. They have a good bit of activities, but he doesn't want to do the things they have. They have crafts, exercise, and chair yoga. There's an indoor pool too so they have water aerobics. They have a nice exercise room, I've even used it myself. They also have a library and a media room. The place is very clean. During Covid when they had reduced staff, a lot of people were getting sick, so the number of people who did the cleaning was down a little bit. But even with that, they were able to keep the cleaning and the important things up. Compared with other places, I know that they're reasonably priced."
