It was phenomenal. They are the best, and it would probably be the only one that I would consider having my parents go and live in. It was a great community. The apartments were really nice and very modern. They have wood floors throughout, which was not the case as for the others that are carpeted. They also have a wonderful courtyard, an atrium, and access to an area where pets could go in and out via a pet door. It was just amazing, and it just felt like a home.

The staff at AVIVA Granbury was very, very friendly. We met the manager and also the tour person. I liked that everything was internal, so you didn't have to go outside for anything. It just didn't seem very alive. All the other places seemed more cheery and you could see people engaging, but when we went there (I don't know if it was just the time of day or whatever), there was nobody out. Even though it's independent living, it almost had a convalescent feel to it. The rooms were a nice size, but of all the facilities we looked at, theirs were not as presentable. They just didn't feel good by looking at the rooms.
