"I toured The Boulevard of St Peters. The executive manager was awesome. He was so nice, caring, talkative, and guiding us in the right direction. The unit they showed me was two rooms. It's got a walk-in bath and a little kitchenette. The staff was beyond great. The place was brand new and perfect. They had a walking area, which was nice, too."

"I liked everything about The Lumiere of Chesterfield. They had a private chef who worked with the people who lived there to get on the menu what they preferred to eat according to their diet. A lot of these people are diabetics and when they go to another facility, they don't care what they eat, they just put garbage on the menu. This private chef makes a world of difference. They have high ceilings and big, spacious rooms. It's much more spacious than a lot of the facilities I've seen. It makes it feel much more luxurious and much more like home."

"It was the place I was trying to get my husband into. It was 5 minutes from my house, and I tried to get him there, but he was too sick for them. It's a beautiful place. We went and toured their memory care and it was very nice and very neat. It was a beautiful place on the inside and outside. The room was lovely and very, very nice. I only saw one and it had a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The staff who assisted us was also very nice."

"The staff here was very, very nice. The atmosphere was very warm and very inviting, but the apartments were not complete apartments. They didn't have stoves, for instance. I was looking for a more complete apartment living situation. Their dining area was very nice. I saw a group of residents doing a painting activity. They looked very happy and content, including the people that I passed on the hall. I didn't like it because I didn't care fo the neighborhood. I wouldn't have been comfortable in that neighborhood. At my age, I'm less interested at hanging out in the Loop or being close to it than I was years ago. The facility itself is new, so it's very clean and nice."

"The Rockwood is a wonderful place for seniors. The decor with beautiful artwork, fireplaces and bookshelves filled with new editions from the library enhance the living. Staff from The executive director, marketing person and staff are very caring and helpful to the residents. The community of Webster is convenient for walking , to obtain groceries, to visit the bank and many restaurants."

"My mother currently lives at Friendship Village Sunset Hills. It is close to my home. They were very personable and not too pushy in their sales. They worked with me as I am my mother's power of attorney. My mother lives in the older section. They're very friendly and it's a faith-based community, which is extremely important with me. It's a community of loving people. They have all kinds of activities like exercise, travel and games. They have beautiful party rooms where you and your family can have parties. Everybody takes care of everybody else. If someone needs something, it's done. They also have great food."

"Tower Grove Manor is wonderful. The whole staff members are terrific. I could not ask for better people. The building is kept clean. They are refurbishing a 100-year-old building that has been let go, but in the last month or so, they have made great strides in improving things. Other than the high cost of living here, it's a terrific place. The meals are good occasionally. It's an independent living, but if you want to have assisted care, you can hire it."

"I will be moving into The Boulevard at Wentzville. It's a nice place, and it's well-staffed. It had everything that I needed. It had a gym with free weights, a swimming pool, and a whole bunch of chickadees running around. I visited a few times and every time, I got very courteous service and everybody was busy. I sat in their dining room and watched and I did my due diligence. Everything's clean and put together. There's nothing that says out of order. Everything works."

"These people are the most wonderful folk. They helped my family when we were in a very desparate situation and worked with the hospital to help my mom's transition from independent to community living go smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about them and consider them livesavers. The facility is equally wonderful - really giving its residence everything they need and beyond. "I toured Garden Place Columbia with my dad. It's much larger. It was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were fabulous. The person who gave me the tour was wonderful. She was great. Their dining area looks ideal. It's perfect. They have rooms for activities and then they have a list posted of what the activities are going to be for the next month. I was very impressed with that. The facility was beautiful. It looks new and well maintained."
