"Friendship Village Sunset Hills was a beautiful place. They showed us two-bedroom with a den and one-bedroom with a den. The rooms were very nice. They have a person who will take you to your doctor's appointment, and they have a doctor who comes into the place. Housekeeping and linen laundry are also part of the package. The staff was very informative and really wanting people to come back for a private meeting."

"Rockwood is small in a good way but a little bit older and dark inside, so I don’t think it’s going to be a right fit because it’s not updated. I liked that the rooms were quite spacious with a good-size kitchen and a good-size living space and bedroom. The staff is very friendly and very clear about the information. "

"I visited Harvester Residential Care. The place was very nice. It was clean. There were people to talk to and they gave me all kinds of information. It was an easy conversation. The staff is friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to show me what they had. They have a room with a treadmill and exercise equipment. It's open to anybody's use if it is available."

"I toured The Boulevard of St Peters. The executive manager was awesome. He was so nice, caring, talkative, and guiding us in the right direction. The unit they showed me was two rooms. It's got a walk-in bath and a little kitchenette. The staff was beyond great. The place was brand new and perfect. They had a walking area, which was nice, too."

"Lake St Charles Retirement Community was very nice, but it just was not for us. There is a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom in the room. It's a good size, but not for my furniture. Their dining room is gorgeous, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a library, a place to walk, and a store, and they take you places where you want to go, too. They have a lake across the street, which is really nice. The staff we met were very, very nice, and the building itself was nice. It's a little hard to find, but once you know where it's at, it's fine; you just have to figure out how to get there."

"It is new and it's very beautiful. The staff was very welcoming. The rooms were really big for memory care. They work with you and they reach out every week. You can tell the same kind of warmth and welcoming. I tried the food three times during the open house. With my father passing away, they even sent a meal for the family for the repast."

"The staff and people were nice and friendly. They have a nice dinner set up and free breakfast. The rooms were a little bit smaller than the other facilities, but they were nice with a bedroom, a living room, and a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a stove, and a refrigerator. They have more cabinet space than I have in my house. They have a whole board full of activities. The only thing I didn't like was that they have laundry rooms where you take your laundry, not laundry facilities in the private rooms. The staff was informative, very nice, and help you with anything you need. They answered all of my questions. "

"My friends are very happy at Clarendale of St. Peters. It's very clean, and it's fairly new. I think it's a year old. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and very helpful. They said the chef quit, and they don't feel the food is as good as it was. They hired someone new now, but they have to train for a couple of weeks before they're working there. I think it's gonna get better now that they hired someone new. They play bingo. They have get-togethers, and they play cards. They keep them busy and entertained. They have a variety of things to do and you could pick and choose. It's just too expensive. As soon as we saw it, they knew that they would like it. There was an apartment for them, and they're very happy there. It's a lovely apartment."

"I moved into tower Grove Manor. I’m transgender, and I feel safer here, and that was of big importance for me. It’s a very nice place, the people are wonderful here, and the area is very tolerant. The apartments are about the same size anywhere, it’s an older building, but it’s beautifully well-kept up, and the food has been great. They’ve been wonderful to me. I’ve gone to happy hour, bingo, and played cards a little bit. They have Christmas planned out. The menu has been great, there’s plenty of it, they have people that carry it to your table for you, and the ice tea is wonderful. It’s very pet-friendly here, and we have a big park across the street. I take my dog there so she can run."

"It was the place I was trying to get my husband into. It was 5 minutes from my house, and I tried to get him there, but he was too sick for them. It's a beautiful place. We went and toured their memory care and it was very nice and very neat. It was a beautiful place on the inside and outside. The room was lovely and very, very nice. I only saw one and it had a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The staff who assisted us was also very nice."

"Rooms are spacious for number of guests in room. Food is good. People care about you and a friendly."

"The Boulevard at Wentzville was very new. It would be a nice place to be, but the price would be a problem there. We looked at it last February before the pandemic, and it was a quick visit. We went through it, and the staff seemed to be working with the residents. They showed the memory care facilities. Everything looked very nice. The rooms were very nice, and the layout was very nice. My friend's mother was there, and they were very satisfied."

"Garden Place Senior Living Millstadt looked older and so much more like a nursing home than the other places I've been to. They didn't seem to have as many activities as the other places we've seen. What they had was music, some entertainment, bingo, and movies. I also didn't think they had quite enough staff. Other than that, it's a very clean place. The dining room was very pleasant looking. It was a large room and it was open on both ends to the common rooms in the lobby and then the kitchen on another side. It had a lot of windows."
