"Friendship Village Sunset Hills was a beautiful place. They showed us two-bedroom with a den and one-bedroom with a den. The rooms were very nice. They have a person who will take you to your doctor's appointment, and they have a doctor who comes into the place. Housekeeping and linen laundry are also part of the package. The staff was very informative and really wanting people to come back for a private meeting."

"Rockwood is small in a good way but a little bit older and dark inside, so I don’t think it’s going to be a right fit because it’s not updated. I liked that the rooms were quite spacious with a good-size kitchen and a good-size living space and bedroom. The staff is very friendly and very clear about the information. "

"I visited Harvester Residential Care. The place was very nice. It was clean. There were people to talk to and they gave me all kinds of information. It was an easy conversation. The staff is friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to show me what they had. They have a room with a treadmill and exercise equipment. It's open to anybody's use if it is available."

"I toured The Boulevard of St Peters. The executive manager was awesome. He was so nice, caring, talkative, and guiding us in the right direction. The unit they showed me was two rooms. It's got a walk-in bath and a little kitchenette. The staff was beyond great. The place was brand new and perfect. They had a walking area, which was nice, too."

"Lake St Charles Retirement Community was very nice, but it just was not for us. There is a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom in the room. It's a good size, but not for my furniture. Their dining room is gorgeous, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a library, a place to walk, and a store, and they take you places where you want to go, too. They have a lake across the street, which is really nice. The staff we met were very, very nice, and the building itself was nice. It's a little hard to find, but once you know where it's at, it's fine; you just have to figure out how to get there."

"My friends will be moving into Clarendale of St. Peters because of the atmosphere and the attitude of the staff. Everyone that we spoke to that worked together to get them in place was attentive in every way. The rooms looked excellent. They were in very good condition, and they were accessible to the elderly. They had 3 different dining rooms, and the food was great. They had an exercise room, a beauty salon, and storage rooms for all the excess stuff they don't want to keep in their apartment. They had an accessible trash room. They also had doctors on staff."

"I moved into tower Grove Manor. I’m transgender, and I feel safer here, and that was of big importance for me. It’s a very nice place, the people are wonderful here, and the area is very tolerant. The apartments are about the same size anywhere, it’s an older building, but it’s beautifully well-kept up, and the food has been great. They’ve been wonderful to me. I’ve gone to happy hour, bingo, and played cards a little bit. They have Christmas planned out. The menu has been great, there’s plenty of it, they have people that carry it to your table for you, and the ice tea is wonderful. It’s very pet-friendly here, and we have a big park across the street. I take my dog there so she can run."

"The Villa at Riverwood was beautiful. The living area was fine. The dining set up was beautiful. The person who accommodated me was a very nice gentleman. They do outings, games, and musicals. They had a patio for barbecues and transportation for those who want to go to different places. I had lunch, and the food was very good. I wanted their apartment on the first floor, which was a two-bedroom. It was more like a house to me. I liked it, but the only thing I didn't like was that it had a little smell to it. That turned me off a little bit."

"I have moved in. Everything is on time, and everybody is really nice. The place is clean and it doesn't smell. When you call the staff, they come pretty quickly. However, the food is better than the place where I was at last. I haven't had much of a chance to access anything other than just the apartment and the dining room. I think the activities are good overall. The value for the money is very good, too. I don't have to provide too much of my own things because everything else is provided."

"The Boulevard at Wentzville was very new. It would be a nice place to be, but the price would be a problem there. We looked at it last February before the pandemic, and it was a quick visit. We went through it, and the staff seemed to be working with the residents. They showed the memory care facilities. Everything looked very nice. The rooms were very nice, and the layout was very nice. My friend's mother was there, and they were very satisfied."

"Garden Place Senior Living Millstadt looked older and so much more like a nursing home than the other places I've been to. They didn't seem to have as many activities as the other places we've seen. What they had was music, some entertainment, bingo, and movies. I also didn't think they had quite enough staff. Other than that, it's a very clean place. The dining room was very pleasant looking. It was a large room and it was open on both ends to the common rooms in the lobby and then the kitchen on another side. It had a lot of windows."

"There independent living, hospice and home care gave caring and professional care to my Mother during her last months of life. "

"This Nursing home is very well maintained. It's located in a nice, quiet pleasant area. All of their hallways are swept regularly, and the rooms are vacuumed consistently. The staff takes care of the patients in a caring and fulfilling way. They are very good natured and spend as much as time as they can with patients. They play games such as bingo with them and talk to them frequently to keep them company. The food they serve in their dining room areas are filled with variety from appetizers to dessert. Their facility itself is quite spacious with hundreds of rooms. There are two wings to the nursing home. One is slightly larger than the other, and they are connected by an enclosed walking bridge with glass. The rooms are in standard sizes within each wing. The nursing home also provides condos for their patients. Food is delivered by the staff via golf cart to these condos. This nursing home has been around for decades, and their overall quality is top notch. "
