"Everything at The Boulevard of St Peters was very well done. It was relatively new. It's just been there for a year. So, everything was nice. We had already put a deposit there for Mom, but we didn't get to use it. The lady was very professional."

"I went to Lake St Charles Retirement Community. It's clean, it smells amazing, and the staff is very pleasant. The amenities there are amazing from what we saw. Lots of people come out for activities, the floors are clean. Dining room is restaurant style dining, so you order off of a really nice menu, and the room size is perfect. The model room was nice, and then she took us into another room, that exact same size that was all open to see how furniture and things would move in. We could move in and set it up, and it was very nice also. Tons of activities going on all throughout the day. All the residents were gathering upstairs for -- they were going to play cards that day, they were playing blackjack. They've got a large screen TV. They had their own weight room, exercise room, they had a beauty salon that looked like one of the beauty salons you go in here. They have continental breakfast. They serve two meals, or you can just do one meal a day and make the stuff in your own room. They have a beautiful library, they have a geriatrics on staff, and a podiatrist on staff. They come in and clean the room once a week, strip the bed, and do the laundry if you want them to do your laundry, or you can do it yourself."

"I went to Solstice Senior Living at Fenton. It's like a bunch of apartments. It was clean. It was nice. The staff was very outgoing. He seemed to like the people, and the people seemed to like him. He answered all my questions. There was a pool table, a library, and a lot of books around it. There was a place where you could play cards. Next door to that they had weights and workout devices, a treadmill, and lifting weights. The rooms were nice. I told the young man, "I'm tired of cooking and cleaning. " He said "Everybody is around here." You're waited on. Once a week they clean your room. There are three meals a day. What more can you ask? It's as clean as a whistle. You can keep your own car, so you have freedom to come and go as you please."

"Brentmoor was great. They had one floor of assisted living. The food was excellent.A father of my friend lives there. She was really happy with it. I have gone with her when she visited her father. The faciltiy was really nice. The staff treated the residents with dignity, and they were always available. They had entertainment, and they also had a big dining area. "

"When I walked in at Clarendale of St. Peters, they welcomed me. They also had my name on the blackboard. The facility was very clean. I met with the representative, and she took me on a tour of the different levels. I was just observing the people in those areas and how they looked. Some of them mingled, and some did not. She then took me to the memory care, which was very nice. I saw a room there. The facility was less than five years old, and it was very nice. The staff was very nice. I saw a lot of them in different areas, and they were all pleasant. I saw them mingling with the residents."

"The Rockwood is set up very nicely for independent living. There are exercise facilities, a laundry room, a sitting room, and a dining room. Most of the time, the lunch is available if you want it, but since it's an independent facility, most of the tenants eat out. The facility serves breakfast, lunch, and brunch on Sundays just in case you come back from church and want to eat. It's a really nice setting even though it's by an old railroad track. The Rockwood is an old, country-style living community, and it's quite quaint. The building has elevators, and all of the rooms are excellently done with wood trim. They have a cart inside if you need assistance getting around. The building has been updated. The people there are very kind, nice, and understanding. The rooms have nice views and outside patios. There are about three entrances, and the residents have their own parking lot. Residents can do gardening. The staff actually takes care of the patios, but if they like, the tenants can do it as well. It is a very nice setting, and it's a very nice area. "

"We toured Clarendale Clayton. It's new. Everything's very updated. The apartments were very modern. They had nice balconies and a laundry facility in the room. There are a lot of different options for apartments and different price points. The staff was very nice. They were lovely. We had lunch there and it was very good. The rooms and the layout were excellent. It kind of felt like you're in a nice hotel, and there's a little cafe in the lobby area."

"I did a tour of Friendship Village Sunset Hills. We just went into the building and saw one apartment. It was very clean. Everything was well maintained. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He described their facility and program very well. He answered all the questions that we had. It's just all-around good."

"My sister will be going to Park Place at WingHaven. I liked the idea that they had a lot of people there and a lot of activities for the people. They play cards and go for scenic drives. They all eat together in a room. They have exercises. The staff was very nice, very helpful, bubbly, and happy. The dining room was clean and looked like a regular restaurant. The facility was very pretty. They have a beauty salon, swimming pool, and spa. It was very homey."

"We visited The Villa at Riverwood. The room that we saw was very nice. The person who gave us the tour was really knowledgeable, and they told us what was what. They also do exercises there. The dining room was very nice; it's a restaurant type. The main thing for us is we can afford it."

"Holiday Orchid Terrace was very nice. I know somebody who went there, and she loved it. I only saw one drawback, and that's the heating and cooling systems they have in each apartment. They protrude out from the wall into the room, which makes furniture placement a little tricky. Other than that, it was a great place. Everyone was friendly and really nice. The staff was wonderful. I looked at both one-bedroom and two-bedroom, and I would have selected a one-bedroom. I looked at the crafts room, the music room, and the dining room. Everything was very nice."

"I have moved in. Everything is on time, and everybody is really nice. The place is clean and it doesn't smell. When you call the staff, they come pretty quickly. However, the food is better than the place where I was at last. I haven't had much of a chance to access anything other than just the apartment and the dining room. I think the activities are good overall. The value for the money is very good, too. I don't have to provide too much of my own things because everything else is provided."

"I moved into tower Grove Manor. I’m transgender, and I feel safer here, and that was of big importance for me. It’s a very nice place, the people are wonderful here, and the area is very tolerant. The apartments are about the same size anywhere, it’s an older building, but it’s beautifully well-kept up, and the food has been great. They’ve been wonderful to me. I’ve gone to happy hour, bingo, and played cards a little bit. They have Christmas planned out. The menu has been great, there’s plenty of it, they have people that carry it to your table for you, and the ice tea is wonderful. It’s very pet-friendly here, and we have a big park across the street. I take my dog there so she can run."

"I went to The Boulevard at Wentzville and it was very nice. It's huge and they have different buildings. The person who took us through was very nice. I thought it was a nice place, but I'm not sure whether it would be the best place for my husband. It's very expensive."
