I've seen this facility first hand. The care that is provided is such poor quality. The staff left a patient unresponsive for almost 9 hours before calling an ambulance. The family requested the nurse call an ambulance multiple times throughout the day but we're repeatedly talked out of it. I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy!

My dad was in Sherman West Court for 2 months in therapy for his broken foot. In that time period he was receiving therapy his dressing for his foot was not changed and he received a nasty infection. Bad enough that his foot may have to be amputated. I would not recommend this rehab place to anyone

This facility and staff were very low quality.. I witnessed them not talking to resident's properly and allowing resident's to sit in there beds for hours before checking on them.. I had a family member in there and he got bed sores on his legs and buttocks because pf the lack of staff help...There were much more things that i witnessed while there but its vust to much to list... I will never request anyone allowing there loved ones to become a resident at this low quality facility....

My mom is at Sherman West Court right now. It is nice, clean, and friendly enough. I am okay with them; they are taking care of her for rehab, but she will only be there for a short time. I wish they would keep her for much longer, but unfortunately they are strictly private pay, it is not really a long term care facility, and Medicare is not going to pay for it much longer.

This facility provides both short term rehab and long term care. The short term program seems to be more widely regarded overall in the community though of course that varies depending upon people's personal experience. The building is situated in a safe area though on a busy street that is lined with businesses. To the rear of the property there is a residential area but it is not easily possible to access that area to go for walks. There is a designated, enclosed outdoor courtyard area that provides patio space that is pleasant and well maintained. It is sufficient for sitting and relaxing though not overly large. The interior of the building has a nice lobby, but somewhat limited other common areas aside from designated space for activity programs. Rooms are of average size and most are shared. Interior rooms lack sufficient windows making them dark and less appealing than exterior rooms. The food is average, nothing to write home about but not bad. Staffing can vary; though care is generally kind and compassionate there seems at times to be not enough staff to meet all resident needs. There is no separate dementia program here and the facility is not "secure" from a dementia perspective so it is questionable in meeting needs of demented and mobile residents.
