"My mom has been a resident for 15 months. I chose Ridgeview for several reasons. The size of the facility was just right. Making it simple for mom to navigate her way around. The building and rooms are very clean. Dinning is restaurant style offering the residents many different dinning options. Mom is a dementia patient. In the time she has been there her disease has progressed significantly as have her needs. I've been so impressed with the management team, the care givers, activity director, medtech, housekeeping, and the chefs accommodating her changing needs. Justin and Jessica have always been there not only to answer my questions, but give me the guidance concerning her care. This isn't necessarily a review but more of a thank you to the entire staff at Ridgeview. Thank you for making my mom's last chapter a great chapter in her life. A special shout out to Shawn for keeping the place running."

"My mother has moved into Brighton Court Assisted Living. It has been wonderful. She has a one-bedroom, and it's very comfortable. She seems to be very happy there. She likes their food. She said there's plenty of it. She said it's the closest to homemade that she has found anywhere. She's very happy with it. She hasn't done any activities; she only moved there a week ago. They have a laundry facility. They are going to be taking her just to have a shot at the cancer clinic, which is right next door. They have been very, very accommodating. The staff has been wonderful. I have to say that they're ridiculously expensive, but comparing them to the other facilities, they are good value. Like she got a full-sized refrigerator whereas the one we looked at had a smaller one. They also had a kitchen sink in there, but the other one that we looked at did not. It also feels more like home to her, and that's important."

"We visited and the intake staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable, very caring, and helpful. They continue to help me even though we're not ready for that level of care yet. Once we had determined that my aunt is not ready for that level of care, we didn't go far into the amenities. I didn't want to take up too much of their time, but they have been helpful to me via the phone for just general information (even after my tour, and even after we decided she wasn't ready for that facility yet). It's been very helpful."

"I moved into The Gallery at Spokane. The rooms are big enough. I have good sun coming through, so that's good lighting. The food is terrific. They have a good medical department. They're very, very helpful. They are here immediately if you have a problem. They are very pleasant. We have a good yard out here, good areas to sit and enjoy yourself. Inside, it's like a hotel. It looks fantastic."

"Very professional staff. A very comfy place to live for medium-risk patients. It's nicely located about 5 minutes away from several grocery stores, yet also isn't in a high traffic area. The staff were trained to help people do basic things such as wash, use the toilet, and eat. Their rooms were also quite comfortable, with an electric reclining chair, a TV with cable, a comfortable bed, and a very large cabinet with a refrigerator for foods. A good choice for anyone, certainly better than some of the other homes I've been to in the Spokane area. "

"My mom is moving in. I like the facilities, and they're the only ones that take Idaho Medicaid. The rooms are beautiful, and the facility is beautiful. The staff is very nice, and the number of staff to patient is nice and high. Mom is moving in on January 3rd. They have activities every day, one is bingo, and they get three meals a day with three snacks. The staff looked efficient in what they did."

Its a Godly, loving, caring and protective place for all people regardless of age and their limitations. We provide a friendly safe and home environment to both our residents and their families. We also encourage participants of events like Christmas, thanksgiving and not forgetting different anniversaries and birthdays for our residents. "Cherrywood staff has always been gracious, caring, helpful and kind to me and my husband, each and every time we've come to visit our senior "family" here. My husband, Monty, teaches a Christ-based Bible study once a week and also preaches on Sunday afternoons. What a privilige to share God's love with others here. We do not have any "real" family in Eastern Washington, so we are blessed with such an exceptional exteneded "family" consisting of people we get to know and spend time with at in Cherrywood. There are also many types of activities available for the residents of Cherrywood to participate in, many of which we've been invited to and greatly enjoy! BINGO is especially fun: lots of laughter whenever the first person has a "BINGO!" One year, Cherrywood had an outside carnival and we had so much fun! Smiles everywhere that day! We especially love the recognition of Senior birthdays and all of the special seasonal decorations. Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas are always special times at Cherrywood. Christmas always has beautiful music provided from our Spokane community; choirs, harps and of course, the fantastic food! Who would think such flavorful food would be available on a daily basis? We've enjoyed the celebrations of Thanksgiving and Christmas with the residents and their many family members, and hearing the wonderful memories the seniors share with us. What a privilige it is to visit with seniors! We've also enjoyed special outings at restaurants and even a wonderful "outing" in Idaho while riding on a boat with a wonderful luncheon onboard a cruise ship in Idaho! It was so peaceful and the fresh air was fantabulous! "

"Legends Park Assisted Living was a nice place. We were accommodated well, and they answered all our questions. The dining room was nice. They had good offerings. It felt homey, and it was very clean, modern, and updated."

"A loving friend of mine was admitted here. The entire situation has been heartbreaking. There is very little effort from the staff to help and assist her do things, and very little interaction. Aside from the necessary assistance, there is no attempt from caregivers to engage themselves with her. Many of The caregivers behave in a manner where what they’re doing is just an inconvenient chore, rather than out of care for the person. The actual care itself seems to be lazy and incompetent. She’s lifted and transferred in a lazy manner by multiple caregivers, and she’s actually been dropped once already resulting in a bruise (which will be addressed by other friends to the proper agency). There is a lack of expediency when it comes to issues within the room and with care. Examples include a toilet running issue that took multiple days to address and they still haven’t tended to other things like her television box. After many months, she still isn’t able to flip through channels and watch the shows she likes. We are talking about a basic amenity here!! There have been multiple times to address problems with her call button, and when it is working, it can take help an excessive amount of time to get there. When going to the bathroom, she is left on the toilet alone to the point where her bottom starts to hurt, and she has to call out saying she’s done. I could list more examples, but you get the idea. Bottomline, she seems to be treated like an inconvenience who they are required to put up with. That’s the main feeling I come away with in all of this, and the one big point I want to stress in this review. It really is heartbreaking seeing my friend reside at this place. "

"My mom moved to The Renaissance. It’s been fabulous. The staff has been great, no complaints whatsoever. The place is new, her building is brand new, really beautiful, with very warm and inviting feeling. Her room is very nice. It’s smaller than what I would have hoped for, but I understand that’s pretty standard for memory care. She has Alzheimer’s, so I can see the benefit of a smaller room for her. She just needs assistance with meals and medication at this point. She still bathes and dresses herself. The dining area is also very nice and the food is fabulous. I ate dinner with mom and my brother ate lunch with her. It’s more of a family style where they will make something special for someone if there’s something on the menu they don’t like. Otherwise, they have a menu in advanced and like in a restaurant, they serve what’s on the menu. I thought it’s healthy, well-rounded meals, which I don’t think mom’s getting when she was living at home. That was one of the reasons why we moved her as we knew she would eat better. I’ve interacted with a lot of staff members over the course of months and they’ve all been fabulous.I took one of my daughters there last night and she said, ‘wow grandma moved to a castle’. On mom’s first day, and she was already involved in activities. They had a birthday party for someone, so that was great. In touring some other facilities, I think we got more for less money than I had expected, so I’m very pleased. "
