We are a Residential Care Home that is owned and operated by a former Registered Nurse who provides 24-hour care in a loving familiar environment, and comfortable atmosphere building a strong relationship all together. Our goal is to provide the highest level of personal attention to support the physical, emotional, and social needs of all residing in our care home. At Safe Harbor, we strive to find the perfect balance between independence and assistance. Our accommodations provide compassionate support and a trusted helping hand offering assistance with toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, administering medication, feeding, pain management, etc. We offer all levels of care for our senior residents from independent to total care, bed-bound to end-of-life care. Our experienced team is trustworthy and reliable, assisting our residents with care tailored to each client's specific needs. We follow a comprehensive care plan and assessment for all care needs from Dementia to Alzheimer's Disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. Unlike large Senior Housing with large numbers of seniors and not enough staff, our facility has higher staff per client ratio 2-3, with care that is immediately available. Residents enjoy socializing with each other in the living room, watching TV, pet and music therapy, playing games or make a puzzle, and coloring. They enjoy spending time on the back patio watching the birds or squirrels playing in the trees, fresh air and sunshine, cookouts and more. With patience, experience, and love we seek to make the transition into the assisted living lifestyle as easy and comfortable as possible for new residents. Our community is also secured with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms with grab bars, walking shower, ramps, and fire extinguisher. We offer private and semi-private rooms.
